The reason I gave 3 stars is because I have mixed feelings about Bentleys Coffee... I have been a customer for about 2 years and I go to all 3 locations, but I'll list some of the pros/cons below.
Pros -Their energy drinks are good, but the fruit takes up a lot of room. I also ask for it to be half sweet since their flavoring portions are too much for me, but that is just personal preference. -I love their pumpkin spice latte with an extra shot!! Love how they use fresh pumpkin puree. Only downfall I would have to say is that everytime I'd say no foam, I would get my coffee with a good inch of no coffee. Not sure why but I know that is not okay. -Their $10.00 coffee drink is good, a bit too rich for me since it just tastes like a ferrero rocher chocolate made into a hot chocolate. I even asked for an extra shot on the side to mix into it and it still tasted more like chocolate to me. I still would recommend to try it if you like chocolate! -If I am craving something sweet, I love ordering their nutella or oreo frappes those are pretty good! They're more like milkshakes to me rather than coffee so its a good option if you're wanting a treat!
Cons -Their Baristas are not always friendly. I personally was a barista myself and customer service is key. I've gone to all 3 locations and there has been times where some baristas are friendly, ask you how you're doing and other days some baristas don't even bother to try to make a conversation. Out of the 3 locations I feel like I've felt this the most at the Lancaster location, but hope to see some improvements. -Their Caramel Frappes aka Caramel Parfaits are good, sadly they are not consistent on how they make their drinks. The first time I got it, it was great with Caramel inside the cup and on top the whip, and the following times it would just be the mixed drink and other times just the drink with a tiny bit of whip on top. Also the last time I got it, I asked the barista if I could order a 16 oz Caramel Frappe, but get it layered with whip in a 24 oz. and she rudely replied with "We don't do that, you either buy a 16 oz. or a 24 oz." There are times I get a sweet tooth and I like customizing my frappes like that and I've never had a problem anywhere else, but the way she responded was not okay and it made me feel like I was dumb for...
Read moreThis is an integral part of my daily ritual. Wake up, put four wheels on the road, Bentley's coffee, drive safely. The latte for me and Carmel macchiato (car-mac), iced, for my girl. After a handful of visits, they knew my name, my favorite colour, superpower choice and most pivotal, my beverage. Having it at the ready as i rolled up to the window There staff are courteous, efficient and skilled. If, in a pinch, I find the need to utilize another's barista-ninja skills, I'm surely disappointed. Whether it be too acidic, saccharin sweet, or just simply lacking. That is both the lure and the curse of this wonderful establishment. Anything else won't do, so if your caught anywhere else, well .. it doesn't "do". The menu is well populated and varied. Iced drinks being popular, however, not my thing. There is a drive up side and a walk up side that are both pleasant and accessable. But, the take home message would be, great staff / great bevies. All the rest is just a bonus. Oh, they do have requisite punch cards, in line order taking (when more than two cars are present - and they are very rigid on this policy), and somewhat silly industry - standard template questions. "What are your plans for the day". Which seems to be the current zeitgeist as such in the customer service arena. Not a big fan myself, it's pretty damn hard to feign interest, especially in a fast paced...
Read more(UPDATE: 2022 hate to say it but the new baristas are not making the drinks as good, the Flavors do not balance or add together right maybe to much of something or not enough of something else, ends up tasting like a bitter carnation for something as simple as a hot Carmel mocha, lowered a star. ) compared to other coffee stands in the area, before I found Bentley's I went from Starbucks to Dutch Bros and then to The human bean. They all began to lose their original quality taste I loved over the years starting with Starbucks back in 2013 then Dutch Bros in 2014-15 and then The human bean starting 2017 they just all kinda started tasting burnt and cheap. With Bentley's their coffee drinks are original to it's own flavor as well as using quality ingredients- coffee, flavors and sauce. My favorite drink is a blended mocha sometimes with Carmel. For kids the cotton candy is what I'd recommend 👍🏻 best hours to get a drink for me is 10-11am seems to taste more better lol some barista's make...
