If you're a tourist visiting Salem, like I was, and you love donuts, like I do, this place should be on your list. It is just a half block from the South Harbor/Waterfront parking structure, and very much worth the walk. Unlike other donut places with donuts that all generally look and taste about the same, here the donuts have very distinct decorations and flavors. The owner, and chief donutmaker, explained how she carefully selects different ingredients and uses various techniques to achieve her delicious artwork. You can eat in the premises if you want some time away from a long day around Salem. During the heavy tourists season the location may feel crowded. If all the seats are taken, the nearby Charlotte Forten Park should be a good spot.

If your a fan of The Amazing Digital Circus, Clows, Monsters, or sweet treats, this is the place to go! Had the worst day at work in the past few years. Came to this store on a whim to try and cheer myself up and did it do the trick! The cereal killer donut was more than just slapping fruity pebbles on a pastry. The donut was fluffy and soft, the frosting was flavorful (not just plain), and the cereal on top was still crunchy despite it being later in the day. It was refreshing to have a themed store that wasnt the usual Witchy decore most other stores in Salem have. Plus the service was quick and pleasant! Will be coming back again and again as a local!

I got a smores donuts which was very visually appealing but the graham crackers were off/odd and the chocolate frosting was kinda bitter. The donut itself was fresh and decent, the marshmallow was really good as well as the hersheys bar when you bite into it with the marshmallow. Creepy/weird decorations makes it perfect for Salem. Loved the atmosphere. There were some funky chairs in there too which were fun to sit in. That donut had so much potential. Dang it!

I have never written a bad review. I work with the public and understand you can't please everyone but the experience I had left me shocked. We traveled 3 hours to Salem to spend the day. My children has eyed the donuts as we parked right across the street in the parking garage. I told them we would get a dozen for the drive home. We spent the day in Salem and on our way back to the car one child wanted ice cream, that they finished before going in to get donuts. As we walked in there was a lady standing at the register. I wanted to throw the empty cup of ice cream away that admittedly had a small amount of melted ice cream in the bottom. I asked for a trash can before spotting it next to the counter. Before I could even get close enough the lady at the register became visibly angry and asked if my trash had liquid in it. I said it had some ice cream in the bottom. She started immediately saying NO and shaking her head. I said nevermind but she insisted on continuing lecturing me on the amount of trashcans in Salem and that I could throw my trash elsewhere. Needless to say while she continued to lecture us, visibly upsetting my children with her behavior we left without using the trashcan or getting any donuts. Maybe this was a one time experience but even as other customers came in she was berating me about a TRASHCAN! It truly left me in aww and even 24 hours later I'm in shock at this lady's behavior that is supposed to be the image for...

Got a dozen donuts for a group of friends. The good donuts: Maple bacon- absolutely amazing Brown butter Ritz crackers -also absolutely insanely goo's Cookie monster

Mediocre: The voodoo doll thing filled with apple- needed more filling Smores - The marshmallow was not good but any bite without marshmallow was tasty

The bad: The heffalumps and woozles - literally just butter as the filling. Am seriously wondering if they forgot the sugar?? Was very gross The berry bread pudding- was very bitter which is not a good flavor for bread pudding consistency Vegan jelly filled- tasted very stale. And I know sometimes vegan things will fall victim to that. But this was not good.

The good donuts were so good that I know this place has got the magic to make it work. But the bad donuts were shockingly bad in comparison. Now that I know what the good donuts are, I will still be coming back as the location and interior are really cool and the service was very friendly. The price is very expensive! 50 bucks for a...

I wanted to like this place. The theming is cute. But the price and quality is really not there. I came in at 9:15ish am on the weekend hoping the donuts would be fresh and maybe even still hot. The store itself was dark and empty. Despite being open since June the store still looks like they’re in the moving process. Things look unfinished & empty.

We got a variety of donuts and none of us finished ours. They were impressively bad. The jam for the filled donuts was chunky in a strange gelatinous way (not fruit chunks) and the texture around it felt soggy/waterlogged. I don’t know why they didn’t just use regular jelly/jam.

The browned butter ritz cracker one is the best out of the ones we got. The ritz topping was pretty good but the icing and donut itself was really disappointing and kinda gross.

They charge a lot- $6/$5 per donut. Unless there is a bulk discount, a dozen would put you out about $60. I know a lot of love and care goes into making those donuts, but the quality is...
