This was the first place we stopped when visiting Salem. There’s a very affordable parking garage right next to it (we paid $6 and we parked there from around 9:30am until 4:30pm)

I didn't find the employees to be very helpful or knowledgeable. We had questions about the trolley (which stops right in front of the visitor center) and were told we would have to go to the trolley office for information.
