Crow Haven Corner — Local services in Salem

This place is a cute little shop but the customer service is horrible! First time I've ever been to the store and to Salem. I was so excited to pick up some crystals and I got a ton of them! Next to the stones are these little satin bags WITHOUT a price tag. I pick one up to see either how much it is or if it was free with the purchase of crystals. I get to the register SUPER excited to purchase my crystals and there was even a donation jar for a crystal so I even donated to take advantage of the opportunity. I asked the girl at the register how much each item I had cost, doesn't mention the price of the baggies so of course I figured it came along with the 10 crystals I was purchasing. She charged me before telling me how much my total was, I knew I was overcharged so I proceeded to ask why, NOW she mentions to me the baggie was $3. I was really upset because she didn't mention this to me at all even after I had asked her the prices of everything. She then proceedes to tell me that they don't do any refunds and all she can give me is a store credit...I'm from Miami so of course that doesn't work out for me . I asked her to please call someone in charge your boss a manager anyone to see what they can do and she says NO NO NO I can't try they won't let me do a refund...I'm telling you right now they will say no but your more than welcome to pick up a more expensive crystal that costs more than the baggie itself. In my mind I'm like why would this woman give a crystal that's more expensive than the baggie without even consulting a manager and just giving away stock like it's no big deal. The cashier proceeds to tell me that if she calls someone in charge she will be YELLED AT for just calling and asking if it's even possible to do a refund!!! I unfortunately got another crystal because I didn't want to fight and with this girl whatsoever I appreciate the fact that she tried to compromise with me but it was her mistake not mine. It's shame because the store is at a great location and the store itself is pretty good...but this girl was literally scared to call her managers for a mistake she made and would not own up to it. Horrible customer service. It's not about the three dollars...it's the fact that she can't handle working as a cashier or as a store employee, if you as the employee makes a mistake then fix it but do not tell me that your boss with...

Really disappointed. I’m in Salem for my birthday with my mother; and she booked the Witch Walk on Tuesday evening for yesterday morning, 11/18/2020 at 11am. Website took the $53.00 for our tickets, and sent confirmation email. We show up to Crow Havens Corner at 10:45am and stand around outside a closed business until 11:35am. Called 3 times- got no answer. Voicemail inbox full. Employee next door was very nice said they’re usually punctual and on time for daily tour. Well not this time. No one even showed up. We got no courtesy call or email to say if someone was running late or if the tour was cancelled- NOTHING. We stood there in the cold for over 40 minutes. When we first got there, we saw a younger male who went inside with bags of items. When he came out we asked if this is where we meet for the witch walk. The gentleman, who looked stoned out of his mind, muttered something that sounded like he didn’t know anything about the walk sorry- and then got into his car and sped away. Towards the end of our wait, that same gentleman returned- refused to make eye contact and went into the building, and never came out. This is completely unprofessional. My mother has sent multiple emails and also reached out on Facebook messenger and is currently awaiting a response from the owner, requesting a refund. As of today 11/19/2020 at 10:30pm- no one from Crow Haven Corner has returned our email, or refunded us our money. We know that they are aware of their error and they are refusing to rectify it. We went on the Salem night tour this evening, and when speaking with the owner of that establishment, he informed us that an employee of Crow Haven Corner had attempted to lie, and said they were there at 11am. Thankfully, he stood up for us. The neighboring establishments owner saw us waiting all that time...and he saw that young gentleman from yesterday walk by and ignore us. (Who turns out to be the Crow Haven Corner owners SON). After which, the Crow Haven Corner employee admitted they were aware of the two women that were waiting for the tour that never happened. Sadly based on this experience, and the lack of communication, I would never recommend this business or service to anyone visiting Salem. It’s...

I have been here twice so if I could put two reviews in, I would. The first time was awesome. I had so much fun I decided to celebrate my birthday in Salem a few months later. The first time, I did a tarot card reading with a house reader and he was great, very believable, very specific.

The second time I went I decided to get a reading with Lorelei. It was a horrible experience. First, you pay 90 dollars for 30 minutes, you assume she is good with time since she was booked one after another, nope got me at 3:47pm when it was scheduled at 330pm. I go back there and it was a mess. Three dogs lying around the room with bowls. The room is cluttered you can barely walk which is a hazard. She couldn’t tell me a thing, was very vague. It was just bad, at one point she told me a male was around me who passed but couldn’t tell me more asked me if I knew someone who passed, I stated I knew a lot of people who died which is true in one year alone, 5 people I know died so yes you need to be a bit more specific. But she literally asked me to pick one umm that’s not how that works I been to mediums and they can recite more than a male who died young and likes music that’s all she gave me. At one point she got snappy with me so I snapped back because it was my birthday and if you can’t do your job that you are charging me 90 dollars for then pick something else to do. She also felt the need to constantly touch my hand which I’m not a touchy person I hate touching people and it would be long periods of hand over hand holding which was not for me. Really disappointing. I ended up at the omen down the street and got a reading done there wasn’t that great because I could tell the guy was tired and exhausted from so many readings but it was better.
