Casey's — Restaurant in Salina

About 1:30 pm 9/17/2025 I walked in this location while waiting to transfer buses. I was looking through my Casey’s rewards, BECAUSE I AM A LOYAL CUSTOMER, when a young woman who looks to be in her 20’s tells me if I’m going to be in her store I need to leave my book bag at the door. Now mind you I’ve already walked in the store and looking around to see what I might want and if I have a reward for it. So I comply after I was over the initial shock. NOT EVEN A MINUTE LATER a man with a hoodie comes over to her, AFTER HE’S BEEN IN THE STORE LOOKING FOR HIS PURCHASE JUST LIKE I WAS, and asks her to help him work the coffee machine. She HAPPILY comes from behind the counter, helps him and walks back behind the counter. 🤬 So I ask her……what makes his backpack any different from mines besides the color of them?!? She has the audacity to tell me she didn’t see his!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 HOW?!?! HOW MA’AM WHEN YOU ALL BUT RAN HIM OVER TO GO HELP HIM?!? I don't recommend this store unless you want to be publicly shamed by the staff about not wearing a mask. I have a condition in which wearing a mask does me more harm than good. The staff member tried to get my attention by yelling at me. When I didn't acknowledge them, the person began to loudly complain to other customers about me ignoring being yelled at. I haven't responded to yelling since my military days. When I returned to the counter the berating continued. I didn't respond verbally in anyway because I didn't care to. The person said the child in line before me had a condition and I could have hurt the kid. This person should not have been volunteering personal information about another customer's well-being. The staff member said all I had to do was explain I had a condition myself. But I dont feel the need to broadcast my health problems. I understand this person was doing what they think is their job, but instead of yelling at and berating me in front of others the situation could have been better handled by approaching me and asking me to...

Dirty Ghetto Bad service Let’s start at the beginning. You pull up and the entire front curb is piled with cigarette butts and trash. a little advertisement/billboard on the front of the store is trashed. Walk into a poorly organized store with excess inventory stacked behind the counter. Somebody’s break time mess is at one of the registers.

Its 7 AM and there’s no creamer in the pump, there’s no breakfast pizza, breakfast sandwiches look like they’ve been in there for a few hours.

Go to the register and no one is there, she is helping with inventory and states I will be there in a minute. Obviously, I am on her time now.

I’ve been to dozens of Casey’s all over the Midwest, this one is the worst I can think of.
