Wow…I couldn’t even believe this place when I came in! I thought I was walking into a high end establishment, that is not what I got! It was bad the moment I stepped foot inside…they didn’t have any customers (after I share, it will make sense as to why!) and the barista let out an she-obviously-wanted-me-to-hear-her heavy sigh, and not only that, but followed by an eye roll and a snarky comment of ā€œI’m NOT in the mood!ā€ Excuse me?! Why is she back there then? So WHO hired HER?!

Location is great but a bit hipster. Reminds me of my old neighborhood in Oakland. Kind of gentrified old burned out part of town that's getting 'revitalized' by some rich kids. O well, soon no one will be able to afford the rent there, but that's progress...nevertheless, it's the only place near the trax train, so I go in there. Its super cool, as in, austere. As in sterile. It's like an airport; or a hospital in a submarine. They defenitly have cooler tattoos then yours....The issue is, I just want coffee with some soy milk in it. I don't do cow's milk. I don't need locally fermented almond, organic rice or renewable coconut milk....but I've been there twice and both times, they don't have soy milk for some reason. So I get it black and its so so so so so freaking strong!! So strong it's sour in the corners of your mouth and it burns my stomach out immediately. If I wanted 5 shots of espresso, I would have asked for it. Kids, back off the grounds a little bit. Its strong as bong water...tastes like licking...

First of all, Blue Copper has some of the best coffee we’ve tried! We actually discovered it dining at Tradition near Liberty Park and LOVED their coffee. We were told Blue Copper supplies them. But while their coffee is very good, our experience with both times we’ve gone into the shop on 900 S have been cold, unfriendly, and very pretentious.

With us being new to their product, we had questions. Each time we’ve been in and asked about different things we were treated rudely and as if we were dumb for not knowing. And aside from us having such a negative experience, they totally missed chances to educate a potential repeat customer with their products.

Like most people, just a good product will only go so far with me. Such a large part of it is the interaction and the way one feels. As good as their coffee is, we...

Came in here to grab some coffees for me and my friends. For a chilly Saturday morning I wasn’t too surprised to see how busy they were peddling lattes and coffees. The space was a bit tight and overwhelmingly congested. Nonetheless, there’s a nice industrious atmosphere with seating arrangements to promote social interactions, collaborative working, or simply enjoying a nice latte. For coffee options I was impressed by the variety of roasts they have available and if you’re into the fancy drinks they seemed to have very talented baristas. Unfortunately, they don’t offer pour overs but the fact they had three different drip options made up for this. The roasts were very unique and I look forward to coming back here in the future

The coffee was pretty good but I feel like my latte had a little too much milk in it, sort of watering down the coffee taste. I’m not sure if this is just how they usually make iced lattes or if it was just an honest mistake. It didn’t ruin the experience for me though, it was still decently good and the employees were very polite and extremely fast despite being busy. A little spendy- my 16 oz drink was $7 with a tip, but I personally think it’s worth it to spend a little more when supporting local businesses.
