Excited for a new restaurant in the area, welcome! Here is my comprehensive experience:
Positives: -Interior looks great & modern. Chairs are comfortable! -Portion sizes are good, and it feels like you get your money's worth
Constructive feedback: -Food is really bland. I would recommend adding a whole lot more spice across all dishes, or invest in giving the customer option for more sauces. -In-store ordering software is not user friendly. User has to confirm after each step separately. User can't see the progress of the order (e.g. how many total sauces they can choose, how many more side dishes they will be choosing after each point) -Quality assurance enforcement or training is needed; The consistency of the chicken was questionable (slimey & resembled a mushroom) in my dish, but properly cooked in my husband's dish.
Overall I'm open to trying GR Kitchen again in the future, and really happy for another healthy restaurant option...
Read moreGreat food, okay prices, subpar seating arrangement.
The gyro is delicious, plenty of lamb meat and yummy tzatziki sauce. Not anything spectacular, but it's good enough for me to come back sometime. The potatoes and the broccoli were cooked very nice and evenly, not too soft or hard.
Prices were reasonable, around $2-3 higher than what I would consider a good deal, but not terrible either.
They really missed a big opportunity with their seating arrangement. 2 walls with giant windows but no counter seating facing the windows. Instead, it's all 4-seat and 6-seat table configurations, which limit the potential number of groups. No separate 2-seat tables either. Extremely awkward for solo diners having to take up a whole table. If they had counter seating I'd probably come every week during my...
Read moreFood is ok but not anywhere near as good as the other fast food Greek places in town. The lemon soup was quite good. The tzatziki sauce was very bland. The falafel wasn't really falafel, more like some sort of black bean burger. The lamb was very lightly seasoned if at all. Side potatoes were just fried potatoes, no lemon seasoning like you expect in a Greek restaurant. Overall the food seemed institutional, like something you'd get in a hospital or high school cafeteria. Prices were good. I thought ordering food on the tablet was fine, although I could see it being off-putting if you are not familiar with the cuisine or if you had...
