Do not visit this branch of McDonald's. Ever. TL;DR: The staff is inappropriate, racist, and untrained; you will be waiting in line for (no, I'm not exaggerating) over twenty minutes no matter how many people are in front of you; you will not get what you ordered; oh, and when you are ordering, prepare to repeat your order several times.
I don't know what it is about the staff who works here, but their favorite word is no. They say this and then go quiet. I'm not kidding. "Could I get a McFlurry?" "No." And then silence until you speak again. "Can I replace my drink with a coffee?" "No." "Could I get a size small?" No." It's just... awkward. Don't expect them to explain why you can't have a McFlurry or milkshake. They won't say anything else.
Not only this, but they are SLOW. My sister came here not long ago and was asked to wait a moment before her order was taken. She waited a few minutes and a car pulled up to the drive thru line next to her. This lady's order was taken right away for some reason, and THEN they helped my sister. When they do finally start taking your order, if you say more than one thing at a time ("I'd like a number one AND a Dr. Pepper to drink"), they will ask you to "hold on a sec." After a minute, they'll add your order to the screen and ask, "What did you want to drink?" Be prepared to repeat everything several times. Besides this, the staff is ALWAYS rude (they won't even speak to you when you pull up to the window no matter how polite you are to them).
The final straw came for me when, after waiting in line for over twenty minutes, the cashier did not give us the milkshake we had ordered. She stated that the ice cream machine would be back up soon and asked us to pull forward and it would be brought out. We waited for another 20 minutes, and when a worker came out to bring the missing item to our car, they brought us someone else's meal instead. They had no idea about our order and said they would ask about it. They went back in and we waited again for 15 minutes before someone brought out the milkshake, which was the wrong flavor. They also charged us extra for the milkshake when they told us it would be free with our meal. Once we got home, we realized that they had also gotten half of our order wrong. I wrote about this experience to management hoping that I would get a refund for having to wait almost AN HOUR for them to mess up literally everything, but instead I got a copy-and-paste e-mail a couple weeks later from the manager apologizing for the fact that we weren't "100% satisfied." Doubt she even read the original message. By the way -- we got two small meals and they came out to $30. $30 for two cold, poorly put together chicken sandwiches. I don't know how the cashier screwed that up, too.
My sister stopped by here the other day on her way home from school and was met by the typical slow, rude cashiers -- but to top it off, this time, she was also met with a racist joke when she pulled up to the window. Talk about uncomfortable.
Please save yourself the trouble and drive an extra ten minutes to the next McDonald's if you're dying for a McFlurry. It'll be quicker than waiting in the twenty-minute lines at this...
Read moreI swear this location can't keep a crew... every time I come here is a totally different experience, with a whole new cast of characters. The original visit that Google prompted me to review, was just last week and the same time of day as my visit this morning. Last week, the drivethru had an average amount of vehicles in it (probably 3 or 4 in front of me), and my order was a little complicated, since I was ordering for 3 people (and we're all kind of picky), so I saved my receipt just in case, but I didn't need it because everything was correct and it was a (semi-rare) pleasant experience. However, this morning when I arrived, there was only 1 vehicle ahead of me, and 1 more pulled in behind me. First, I had to initiate contact after sitting in silence for almost 2 minutes, which looks fairly unnerving to anyone around, as you start spouting random "attention getting" phrases at a (still unresponsive) quiet speaker box, until the obviously unsure sounding voice finally whispers, "Order when you are ready", which prevented me from responding with "I was ready 2 fairly embarrassing minutes ago", as I was still trying to process what she had said, when she repeated it in a much louder, annoyed sounding voice, like I was at fault for not needing a hearing aid yet. Luckily I've learned to order very slowly and clearly at this location, so assumed everything would be fine, especially since I only ordered 1 coffee drink and 4 hashbrowns... unfortunately I was wrong. I really don't understand what is so confusing about ordering a Carmel Iced Mocha, with Light Ice and Extra Whipped Cream (which as usual was correct on the screen), but the person at the second window, who's job it is to make sure that the orders going out are correct and complete, tried handing me some other Iced Coffee drink, with a flat lid (instead of the dome lid), no Whipped Cream or Carmel Sauce, and half filled with ice. She at least noticed that it was missing the Whipped Cream (probably after glancing at the screen that said "Extra"), since she pulled the drink back when I was about to ask where it and the Carmel Sauce were. She then popped the lid off, topped it with Whipped Cream, put the correct lid on, and proceeded to hand, whatever coffee drink it was (now with Whipped Cream), to me through the window. This time I asked about the Carmel Sauce, to which she replied with a confused look and "it's uhhhh... hold on a minute" and closed the window. When she finally re-opened the window, she handed me what appeared to be (and was finally), my Carmel Iced Mocha, in the correct cup and lid, with the normal amount of Ice, Whipped Cream, and Carmel Sauce... *sigh... at least it was the correct Coffee drink, which I'm sure was better than whatever she originally had ready, even without the extra Whipped Cream and Carmel Sauce I paid for. After finally getting my 4 Hashbrowns, I just wanted to get home, so I abandoned the correct drink for the "close" one, especially since the 1 car ahead of me... was still ahead of me, waiting for their order to even come out, which is never...
Read moreThey have a sign on the door saying they are open for dine in til 11. We literally got there at 10.44 and the doors were locked. There was another customer in the lobby who was sitting on her computer and not eating. So a worker comes over, and when we asked if we could come in she says she cannot open the door. I asked why their sign is on the door for their OPEN dine in hours, and she says, "I don't know why they don't change it" and walks away. The manager then came over, which I was going to ask maybe him the same question, which he does not make eye contact and verified the door was locked and they both walked away. So we called them. When confronting them with the same question, I was hung up on over the phone speaking to the same gentleman who graciously refused to make eye contact moments before (the manager), and everytime I had tried to call back, they have blocked the number/do not answer. The manager who we confronted, I managed to find another image from these reviews. He is shown here just for informational purposes only as to who is accountable and responsible for the well-being and satisfaction of McDonald's customers by being a -said- manager. I do not own any rights/trademarks/copyrights to the image. For further information regarding the image attached, please see the original poster, which is also disclosed in the image.
WAY TO RECOGNIZE AND CORRECT A PROBLEM THAT ARISES. If I were literally to shift blame at my work to "someone else" and not do anything about it, lol I would not have a job. No wonder you make minimum wage, you do not even deserve $15hr with this kind of attitude/behavior in a workplace. Idegaf it's McDonald's, it's called a job and you work there for a reason, SO ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB. To the lady, I'm sure you did your job by taking people's orders and making the food, but to the manager... Is your job literally to not fix problems? Cause that's what happened, and that's...
