We typically order from Smash Burger in Sugar House once a week. Last week they got our order wrong and I called the restaurant to have them correct it. I sent my Autistic son to the store to collect the new order. The GM, Danielle, ridiculed my son about the order and completely made fun of him in front of other customers. I was there today and we ordered food. Once I ordered I asked Danielle if she was the person who reviewed our order and spoke to my son the previous week. She said yes. I asked her why she had to literally ridicule an autistic kid in front of other people in the line and make them laugh at him. She said that all she needed to do was give him the order. She didn't apologize or feel regretful about it. She was actually quite horrible about it. We have an autism group that meets every week and after our meeting, we go to Smash Burger. All of the participants have agreed to not go to Smash Burger in Sugar House anymore. I urge everyone reading this message to not patronize this establishment anymore. They treat people with disabilities cruelly and do not acknowledge when they have made a mistake. Danielle is a Russian woman who is very cruel to everyone she comes in contact with and a very unhappy person. I would hate for anyone else's child to bear the brunt of her bad attitude. Read moreI placed an order online. When I went to pick up my order they told me they had not received my order. I showed the associate my order and provided an order number. He said their was no order, but that I could place my order again. He also mentioned there is a problem with the system where "1 in 10 orders don't go through." I asked for a refund and he would not give me the refund. I called the next day to speak to a manager. I was told if an order does not go through, the charge is automatically refunded. It still has not been refunded. I reached out to corporate and was told they would forward the issue to the appropriate team, and that they would issue the refund. That was a week and a half ago. I reached back out and was told they were still looking into the issue. This company charged me and would not provide me with my order, or a refund. I have been waiting two weeks. I don't understand why they wont fix the issue, or why they have a system that does not work as intended. I feel like this is fraudulent, and now I feel like the company is dishonest and tries to take advantage of their customers.

Read moreFirst of all, we showed up ten minutes before closing which is understandable that we are going to upset the employees. However, I was beyond surprised at how horrible the service and attitudes were at this location. We decided to order separately, I ordered/paid and walked to the soda fountain. Then my friend is waiting to order and the cashier walks off and starts vacuuming again. Finally after the manager walks up to help me because the soda fountain was spraying everywhere since they already took the parts off of it. They send someone to take the second order. Oh and it seemed as if it was a nuisance to reattach the spout. The manager seemed very upset in general. We go sit at a booth that seemed to be the least threatening to the employees. While waiting for our dine in food, the manager walks out from that back and is scolding the employees in the lobby as well as the back room. Our food comes in Togo bags and the employee says they didn't have trays. Obviously they didn't want to clean more which is understandable.
