Soooo disappointed we are a family of 4 with 2 Littles so we don't get out often we were given a gift card for Christmas and were super excited to use it our server was no where to be found throughout the entire meal had to keep asking different servers to ask him to come to the table, drinks empty, breadsticks gone, salad empty, soup empty ( I got the unlimited soup and salad) so you can imagine my frustration constantly waiting ,the food was actually pretty good aside from our calamari being a little cool I was already frustrated when the server tells us" oh I have a big party coming in so i might be busy but just wave down another server if you need something" bro what!?!? So just F our table then right?? The straw that broke the camels back was on our way out the server noticed my husband talking to the manager and comes over to ask is if he gave us chocolates ( he didn't) to which we responded "no" he runs to the waiter stand comes back with a handful and tries to put them in my husbands hand( who is holding our 8 month old daughters carseat) so my husband being caught off guard because he's mid convo with the manager tries to hold his hand out 2 chocolates hit my daughter right on her head she fussed a little bit that was it the manager sees this and just says oh no and the server just walked away without apologizing or anything and all the manager had to say was sorry I'm so disgusted with the way my family was treated I will definitely not be going back cannot believe all the manager had to offer was an im sorry we definitely weren't expecting anything for free as we had already paid when we stopped to talk to the manager but honestly at least offer can't believe this is the customer service this huge...
Read moreCame up for a graduation Luncheon. My cousin, mother of graduate had initiated a call a day before as a courtesy as they don't do reservations fyi and that table setting for a least 25 would be coming as heads up. That Saturday she also called to see how crowd's were and on phone received notification oh wait times. We settled for 3pm with seating still for at least 25. We arrived. . Plenty of parking and wait wasn't long at all. We had 2 waitresses that were AWESOME! Got our orders correctly very small wait for food. The only glitch as the last arrived not enough room, we respectively asked if another table could be added. As there was a Empty spot in front of the beverage area. A manager came out if no where and told us we could not have another table as we did ask for setting of 25. We explained we understood we were just asking. My cousin is very shy and she won't speak up. We all just scooted and squeezed in and made it work. All 23 of us. So no... setting was not for 25, my cousin was correct in the approximate number of guests. Paying guests. Other than that manager, the waitstaff did good. Kept us topped off. Kept the tickets separated as asked. The food was HOT!! My Trio plate allowed me to try out 3 dishes, fettuccine noodles CRAZY AWESOME! The lasagna was so tasty and cheesy and marinera sauce in it was so good. My chicken parmesan chicken was over crispy and hard to cut. But other than that everyone enjoyed their meals. Salad and breadsticks always on point and a win!!! The shrimp fettuccine was a favorite. I would love one day if it was grilled but still awesome. The graduate love it, Olive Garden helped bring this...
Read moreOne Star – Negligence That Could Have Killed My Wife
I’ve never been more furious or terrified in my life. My wife has a severe shellfish allergy, which I clearly stated multiple times when I placed my order at the Olive Garden in San Angelo. The online menu only showed “Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara,” so I specifically called to ensure the shrimp would be removed and that the kitchen staff would take all necessary precautions—new gloves, separate utensils, and zero cross-contamination.
What happened next? My wife started coughing and wheezing shortly after we began eating. It turns out the manager admitted that the crucial “shellfish allergy” note was never passed along to the back-of-house staff. My wife ended up in the ER because of Olive Garden’s negligence. Had I not intervened and rushed her for medical care, this could have ended in absolute tragedy.
A restaurant that claims to take allergies seriously should never drop the ball like this. Their negligence is not just shocking—it’s dangerous, potentially life-threatening. If you or anyone you love has food allergies, steer clear. This was a horrifying experience, and it’s one we’ll never forget.
You’d better believe I’m sharing this everywhere I can. Olive Garden, your failure could have killed my wife. You need to do...
