Craving Crab San Angelo — Restaurant in San Angelo

We have always loved this place, but I'm am very un happy this go round. First it took for ever for our food to come out. We ordered the small steam pot. It came out cold, I mean like it just thawed out from the freezer. So we sent it back it took another 15 min or so to get it. Our waiter was new and he did good for being new, the manager gave us a 10% discount which was nice. It was me, my husband, my 2 neices at are 13 and 15 my 2 kids that are 4 and 6! I go to pay and I see a service charge of 17.00 so I asked what it was for the manager said because we had more than 4 ppl at our table. OK, well 2 of those were little kids. But whatever so I asked him if the waiter gets all the 17.00 he tells me no that it gets split between him and the girl that "helped him" which is ridiculous because she did nothing other than bring out cold food! She certainly didn't earn half that. And they said he was new so if she gets half of that charge she should of been there actually helping him and training period.... will not be back. The food is good, but it'd the principle of the whole situation. 17.00 for 5 adults and 2 small kids to sit at a table especially with horrible service and cold...

The experience was Fair. I got a fried basket combo and couldn't tell the calamari from the French fries at first but when I bit into the calamari it was tough and rubbery with a bit of an "off" flavor. There's were 5 quite small shrimp and a lot of fries. The hushpuppies were good. My wife got the E combo. She ordered the garlic butter and despite there being garlic and butter in the bag, the food didn't taste of any. The snow crab legs were so skinny that getting much meat out of them was pretty impossible. The shrimp were a decent size in the bag as opposed to my fried shrimp but they were really tough. The place has the feel of a once great place that's on the decline. The older decor was well thought out and very nice but the copy paper qr codes taped to the side of the booth were stained and curled up from getting wet. The bathroom floor was wet from an overflowed toilet. They dont carry coca cola products which i hate at restaurants. Fyi restaruants go Pepsi because Pepsi will front the equipment costs when starting up a restaurant whereas coke will not. I don't think we...

My husband had gone to lunch during the week. He said the food was excellent and was served very quickly. We went today on a Saturday about 1:00pm. I was very disappointed with the service. We order appetizers and they never brought them. Then we asked if it takes that long to get the food and another server went to check on our food and brought it out. It took 40 minutes to get our food. I was ready to walk out. My sweet potato frys were cold. Shrimp, Catfish and onion rings were good. The bartender and one female server were being loud and playing around which I thought it was unprofessional. Do that when you have no customers listening and watching you play around. Take a sweater as the AC was full blast with maybe 15 customers in the restaurant Won't be going back soon and if we go it will only be during the week and lunch. Probably when the main bosses are around and watching that everything...
