Bahama Buck's - San Antonio (Bandera Road) — Restaurant in San Antonio

I stopped at this Bahama bucks with my mother & my son on the a Sunday...first, I will say that the drive thru is in a very bad spot, hard to get in line without blocking traffic entering the parking lot, anyway, we ordered 3 drinks and my mother ordered a sugar free drink. The girl at the drive through told her they were out of that flavor and gave her a list of other sugarfree flavors they had, so she chose one. We waited over 10 minutes and the girl handed us one drink and walked off, I thought then she came back and said she gave us the wrong one and took it back...several minutes later we got part of our order, my mother tasted hers and said that it didn’t taste sugar free so I tasted it and agreed..when the girl came back, we asked her and she said that it wasn’t sugarfee and they were out of sugarfee..I told the girl my mother is a diabetic, & she needs to pay extra attention when people are ordering sugarfee drinks...she didn’t apologize, she just stood there. We were so irritated that we just gave the drink back and left, & we had already paid for everything. I will not be going back to this location again. Very sad, because I love...

Love this place... they're fast, great service, awesome product, and responsive of there's a problem... while in all honesty, the only problem I've ever had is getting into my frozen... um... snow cone... (is that what you call that?) Finding the very center of the "shaved ice/snow cone" still white from no syrup flavoring... they fix it so fast no matter how busy this place is... aaaaand it gets pretty dang busy, especially when it's hot... there's a YMCA near so on Saturdays, after the Kids get done with soccer or baseball, tons of people stop there for a cool refreshing treat. This is 100% (wanted to say 1,000%, bit that's stupid) better than ice cream (although they do have ice cream type treats) because you're not extremely thirsty afterwords when you have one of these on a hot summer day! Also, trust me when I say, a "baby" sized treat is good enough for an adult unless you're really hot... then a small is perfect. The rest just gets to be... too mitch of a great thing. my personal favorite flavor is "Hurricane Colada"... refreshing, tropical, and would be perfect if sittingin a hammock on a Caribbean beach! (Or if I could've slipped some rum...

Update#2: Jun 23, 2019. Tried the more popular Bahama Colada with extra syrup and have to say it was much better. Taste on this one 4.25🌟. Good job! Overall 3.75🌟s. Keep it up and be consistent with all drinks.

Update#1: Apr 22, 2019. Wanted to try one last time before making a decision to refund my gift cards back to Costco. Asked for extra syrup and they obliged. Better but still not rich or flavorful enough. Daughters seemed to enjoy theirs, so they can keep the gift cards. Maybe our last time when balance of gift cards finished. Overall 3.5🌟s.

April 10, 2019. Had a large passion fruit shaved ice. In 2018, they were all made so well with great flavor. This one time I can't state that fact.

Other reviewers state drinks flavorful at the bottom and then no flavor or just ice. This was my experience. Is this a trend? Skimping on ingredients, more training or something else?

If this store/staff is not careful it will meet the same demise as the permanently closed one on 1604 & Leslie road by Walmart. Hopefully franchisee reads these reviews and makes...
