My son and I have been trying to figure what’s our best value burger and upper tier burger. So far we enjoyed all the In/Outs along the I5 corridor and had to try BB! Service was nice but when asked what is the difference between the classic Double Boy and Double Junior Boy, didn’t really get a clear answer but think it was less patty. I didn’t like my Double Boy. I don’t mind mustard but not when it overwhelms the taste. Mustard burger! A 2* but note I’m not a mustard fan. Also, additional toppings, ala carte, adds up. Not sure if there are other sauces or condiments but will stay to my Double-Double! Note on my rating, sharing this as I believe some may assume a 3-star review indicates a mediocre experience. 5 stars: Exceptional! Outstanding food, service, and/or experience—well worth traveling for. (For example, we often drive from San Antonio to Austin just for Uchi.) 4 stars: Surpasses expectations in terms of food, service, and/or ambiance. 3 stars: Solidly good or meets expectations. I would revisit any place rated 3 stars or higher. 2 stars: Falls below acceptable standards for food or service. 1 star: Best to avoid.

Just the double burger and lg fries, the soda was substituted for a vanilla milkshake (a buck extra). The staff was friendly and very attentive, they did a great job and answered my questions. The double burger WITH cheese was only about average on the national burger scale for American food and hamburgers. The cheese was an American cheese and was very salty and had a strong flavor. As for the French fries, pretty good…pretty pretty pretty good (frozen from a bag)., The milkshake was very sweet and had sprinkles(not my idea). This place seems like a good place to bring the family, they have grilled cheese and dogs and corn dogs .. things young ones might like. I gave the place a four star, that was very generous, but I gave extra points for the guys having a good attitude. This ain’t my kinda burger joint, but it seems like a nice place for the community.

I can understand why this was one of the most anticipated openings of the year. We have been back a few times since they opened already for drive thru and dine in. Both great experiences. The location is ultra convenient being right off the highway and not right on top of the college campus. The atmosphere is well kept and you can always expect to see the employees hustling and bustling. Speaking of the staff, they’re all so sweet and clean cut and they push out orders quickly. We enjoyed every last bite. Damien helped us in the drive through and we were so impressed with his service, can’t believe it’s his first job. There was another member I don’t know how to spell her name but she is also sweet. Raven I think he said. We will keep coming back to this location and we’re so thankful to finally have it open!

I want to give them 5 stars all the way down but I can't. The food was great. The atmosphere is great. The service was actually great BUT.

While I was at the drive through window I asked for a cup holder and the old man actually asked me if I have a cup holder in my vehicle.

I have 2 cup holders in the front by me that I can reach while driving. I got 2 drinks from Burger boy and I had an energy drink because I worked last night (I'm an ER RN) and I had been up for 20 hours straight at that point. I had my energy drink in one and one of the drinks from Burger Boy in the other.

The dude asked me if I have cup holders in my car. Why does that matter? Just give me the damn cup holder! The dude even stretched out his neck and peeked inside my SUV to look!?!?!

He did in fact give me the cup holder after he questioned me and took a look inside of my car to verify if my cup holders were in fact full.

It was so weird and awkward! It really pissed me off! Just give me the cup holder. You don't need to question me about my cup holders. The dude actually put his head into my SUV to check if I was lying or not! Wtf?!?🤣

Even though that pissed me off I will absolutely still go back. Hopefully all of the visits in the future won't be as...

BBs food is top notch, but this location is still working out some kinks on service. First time something went wrong, they forgot to make my kids shake. It took multiple mentions to different people before it came out, much after my kid had finished eating their food. It was fairly new, so I let that one slide.

This time I could tell they're worried about service cuz they repeated my order to me twice at the drive thru, had to make a correction at the window, and they still got it wrong. I was missing a patty on my working man 😕 still ate it and came here for feedback.

Managers should be doing drive through and kitchen line until staff has gotten some more repitition and familiarity in. Theyre the busiest spot to easily make the most stressful mistakes. Or you could move around some of your vets to other stores. Everyone at this particular location seems green. If orders are taken wrong, it dominoes to window mistakes, food line mistake, etc. Need some old blood in there, or we get to wait til the kids there get...
