I'm an OG - used to go to the original back in College Station, which was amazing if slow due to the long lines. This new location seems to suffer from poor management. Staff is confused, unwelcoming, and slow - which points to poor training and oversight.

Two stars because the food is still good, otherwise I'd be at one star. Service needs a kick in the seat to step up their game. It's a new location, so you should put your best people on it. Not to mention, the music being played was all pop with explicit lyrics. I don't particularly care one way or another, but if I had young children I would be hesitant to bring them here.

If ownership is reading this, you need a new manager. When I walked in (Saturday 8/7 @3:30) there was one customer in front of me, and both registers had an attendant. The register with the customer was having an issue - something to do with the card reader. The employee at the other "open" register appeared busy with something, it wasn't clear. Neither employee acknowledged me.

After a minute or so struggling with the woman's transaction, the first register brought the manager over to fix it. The manager was outside the counter, and to get past and around he walked between me and the counter (I was standing within 3' of the counter and had to step back to give him room. There was no one behind me), and even then after basically shoving me aside the manager didn't acknowledge me. Back behind the register it was clear the employee was new and trying to ask the manager questions. He was hurried and brushed her off without answers. Unclear why though because there were literally only 5 tables with customers in the restaurant - it wasn't busy and would have been a good time to train her.

They finally got the issue resolved and got the woman on her way. Only then (5 minutes after I arrived) did anyone acknowledge me by the manager shoving a menu at me saying "here's the menu", then walked off. I gave my order to the bewildered first employee (the one with the unanswered questions) while the employee at the second register wandered off into the kitchen.
