Went today at 12:45. I knew it would be busy for the lunch rush, as I’ve worked in multiple service and fast food places. But we sat in line for EXACTLY 23 minutes before the gentleman came up to our car to take our order. About 3 cars infront of us left before they even got their order taken. We decided to wait as I didn’t have time to go somewhere else and it had already been that long. We ordered only one thing: the 4 piece tender meal. It took about another 12 minutes until we got our food. The entire time the gentleman was walking around with another older woman, we kept thinking “what’s taking so long”? When he got to our car, his words were slurred and he kept mumbling. We asked for the drink to be Dr. Pepper if they had it. He agreed. When we got our food and were halfway to home, we tasted the drink and he gave us sweet tea. I checked the box of food immediately and saw that there were not four, but THREE tenders in the box, with half of the fry bag filled, including a literal HALF roll. I get bush’s often, about once a week, and when we pulled into the drive through I was extremely disappointed to see that they removed the prices from their menu ENTIRELY. Inflation has been going up, and I’m okay with that, but not showing current prices on the website is one thing, but to do it at the drive through? That’s strange, and I didn’t like it one bit. Then to get skimped out on the meal and wait that long for very poor customer service. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location, which is sad because as a house cleaner, I depend on quick meals near where I am. And the one on Walzem road is one I frequent often. As having worked in multiple fast food chains, I always give the benefit of the doubt. But today? No way. Do...
Read moreWe waited in line for 30 minutes. It’s Friday; we get it. When we finally arrived, they didn’t have enough chicken for the 15 piece we ordered. They asked us if we were willing to wait 15 minutes to get fresh chicken. The wait time ended up being 45 minutes. They didn’t give us our gallon of tea we ordered, so I began to call to assure they knew but got no answer. The chicken was bland. The okra was bland. I’m honestly surprised because this isn’t the standard of any Bush’s Chicken. Chicken is usually tasty and enjoyable. We ordered at 9:18, ticket #463, and I know we weren’t the last ones, so, I truly believe they rushed so much they forgot to season it. It was tasteless, and my family, well, we don’t do insipid food!! I love Bush’s Chicken, and I honestly hope they get it together. And, yes, hopefully tomorrow I will drive by there and pick up my delicious gallon of tea and bring my receipt. I’ll have proof I called three times to communicate, and let it ring but got no answer on my phone. Maybe they were still so busy and trying their best to move the line to close, but tasteless chicken??? You made us wait 45 minutes after a long line of 30 minute wait, and you forget to check the order to assure we get our tea? No taste in the chicken and okra! No sweet tea to pass the tasteless chicken! Long wait! This specific visit is definitely a...
Read moreWe went here at 9:11 pm and I walked in and ordered a 8 piece livers and gizzard and a tender roll, but when I said can you make it fresh he said “certainly you’re the customer.” He was very nice and told the cook to make it fresh so he did.
I was waiting for 8 minutes and I said I wanted a small cup of ice and he said “are you sure I can give you a drink since your order is taking long.” I said “ok that’s great thank you” he gave me a sweet tea so I took it to the car and I came back and he said “you’re order is almost ready would you like another tea.” I said “ok thank you” so he gave me another one.
5 more minutes later he said “did you get your order?” I said “not yet I don’t mind I see your busy.” Which I saw how the drive thru was packed and raining. So he was super very nice too give me this much of livers and gizzards tenders, fresh rolls, gravy, serendipity packets, and a gallon of there sweet tea plus the best part it was super hot and he said he was sorry I hope you come back and I said “thank you so much and I really appreciate this you made my day, but what’s your name?” He said “my name is Josh.”
I will come back to this establishment and everyone was super friendly and working very hard especially when it was raining and I will come back plus we had a big family at home waiting for us since we didn’t...
