Cementville Grill at The Quarry Golf Course — Restaurant in San Antonio

We stopped by for breakfast after trying Snooze and deciding NOT to wait for an hour. We were immediately seated overlooking the back nine, and the view is spectacular for an old quarry. Our waitress provided us with excellent service. The food was above average, with the eggs benedict as the standout. I asked for one one spanish style and one classic ham and hollandaise. They accommodated me but said there would be a slight upcharge. I thought no problem, until I saw the $5 upcharge on the bill. To me this was a little excessive. My husband had the American Breakfast Platter and he had no complaints. The drinks we ordered (lemonade, orange juice) we're fair at best. Terrible experience. I come with a group once a month. First, I asked for coffee with cream . Coffee came,no cream. I waited but finally went to the counter to ask again. It was brought in a plastic cup not a little creamer pot as before. I ordered Belgian waffles. When it arrived I proceeded to cut into the waffle and noticed there was a pull on my fork. I looked down and saw a long black hair coming from the waffle! I called the waitress and she apologized and offered another one. Lost my appetite. Amazing Food, Great View, and Friendly Service!

I had the brisket mac and cheese, and it was absolutely delicious—so flavorful and super filling! My wife ordered the chicken and waffles, which she loved. Both dishes were cooked perfectly.

We sat by the window overlooking the golf course, and the view was stunning. It was so peaceful, and we basically had the place to ourselves, which made the experience even more special.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was great, too! Overall, this was a fantastic experience—great food, wonderful ambiance, and excellent service....
