Stopped in today 5/9/25 to redeem a birthday reward. I liked it much better than the first time I tried it. Rolls were very fresh and soft today. Employee was friendly. I will try again sometime in the future.

My kids and I HAD to stop in last week to try the new location.

We ordered 3 cinnamon rolls and a Cookie Dough Scoop. Campfire S’mores Roll - not one single person in my family likes this roll. My kids LOVE S’mores over a vampire but this roll did not impress them. I tried it thinking they were being picky, but nope, it’s a pass for me too. Birthday Cake Roll - not too bad. Was soooooo sweet. Cookie Monster Roll - this was our family favorite Cookie Dough Scoop - my son added the Oreo and chocolate frosting to it. We will pass on the cookie dough. For the price, it was so incredibly small.

Overall, we had mixed reviews. We will not frequent often, but maybe for a special birthday treat or a craving. Wouldn’t mind trying a couple other flavors.

Customer service was good. No complaints. Our order did take about 20 minutes to make. So timing could be better. I’d imagine it taking longer with more people...

I was really looking forward to this place but was sadly disappointed 😞. Customer service was really lacking. I was the only customer in and the employee didn't greet, didn't offer to help, or anything. I was looking for a long time trying to find a roll I seen on their instagram page. After realizing it might not be a menu item I asked if they have a lemon roll and I got no answer. So I just said "no?" Then she said, we have lemon frosting. No other help or recommendations or even just letting me know she's never heard of a lemon roll. After I placed my order she did take her time building the rolls and they looked nice but when she was finished and handed me the bag she said nothing. Customer service does go along way to make the experience better.

As for the rolls, I didn't care for it. They didn't seem fresh (kind of crusty and dry on the outside). The toppings made them overly sweet which I suppose isn't a surprise. If I did try it again I'd just get a plain roll with...

Disappointing Experience at Cinnaholic:

Visually, Cinnaholic's cinnamon buns are stunning, but the taste was a letdown. The buns felt overwhelmingly sweet, almost like a bite could give you diabetes. They looked amazing but tasted too much, and unfortunately, they were stale and old—not soft at all, indicating they weren't fresh.

We also ordered hot chocolate, which was mediocre at best. It tasted like it was made from powder, not real chocolate. Admittedly, I'm picky about hot chocolate and prefer authentic flavors, so that part might be a bit biased.

The cookie dough had potential, but there were far too many chocolate chips in it. Every bite had about five pieces, making it overwhelmingly chocolatey. The dough itself was decent, but I would have preferred it with fewer chocolate chips.

The pictures and videos online and even the ones I took looked super appealing, but the actual taste was just...

If you're a fan of indulgent, freshly baked treats, this bakery is an absolute must-visit. The cinnamon rolls are perfection—soft, gooey, and perfectly sweet, with that iconic rich frosting that melts in your mouth. The aroma as soon as you step inside is irresistible, and the staff is always welcoming, ensuring a warm, inviting experience. Whether you’re grabbing an Old Skool , a Cookie Monster or a Shake, rattle and roll each bite is a pure delight. You can tell the quality is top-notch, and it’s hard to walk out without a smile (and maybe an extra roll). This is my favorite bakery in Alamo Ranch, the staff is as sweet as the rolls. A sweet escape worth every calorie!
