Culichis and Beer TX — Restaurant in San Antonio

The ceviche (not pictured) was not to my liking so I sent it back and they charged me $16 for it still! They brought out the tostada chips but no salsa and the sauce that was on the table was not appetizing. The crackers were the best thing to eat. When I didn't like my ceviche, I ordered fried shrimp and it came with mixed vegetable rice and a mango salad.. I ate all of the mango off of the salad. The mixed vegetable rice tastes like a microwave 92nd rice and they just added pepper to it and put it in a bowl and put it on the plate. Sauces for the shrimp were not offered. The waitress never came back to ask us if we liked our food or our drinks. My boyfriend's drink was disgusting and with us being the only there there was not a reason why someone should not have been more attentive to our needs. The waitress also did not speak any English but luckily my boyfriend is Dominican and he was able to order for us and communicate with her. My mom got the garlic shrimp which came with the rice and mango salad. She said the shrimp was decent but otherwise very plain. My boyfriend got the shrimp bag and expected to still get potatoes and corn but for $20 only received a pound of shrimp. Not what we were expecting when you get a seafood boil bag. I was on a road trip passing by San Antonio and decided to give this place a try. Needles to say I left very disappointed 😞. To begin with the host was very disorganized and changed the table we would be sat at several times. Once seated, we waited about 20 minutes before anyone ever came to the table. 10 minutes later we were told a waiter would come by, 5 minutes later someone else comes and lets us know they will get waiter for us. Finally a waiter comes to get our order. The tables that sat down after us got attended before we did anf drinks and chips before we even got to order. Drinks and chips all came at different times within the next 15 minutes. Then we were asked to change tables to accommodate a bigger party, luckily we hadnt received any food yet so we agreed. Now its been atleast 40 minutes since we placed our oder and no food yet. After about an hour we finally got our first order, the titanic sushi, which was pretty cold but wasnt bad. 15 minutes later we finally got the rest of our food. We immediately asked for our ticket and togo boxes. Waited another 15 minutes for that. The food overall wasnt to bad but difitnetly not worth the 2 hour wait time and...

Food is way overpriced for what you get. The quality they serve is low-grade. Taco Bell tastes better than them. Staff is the most untrained staff I have ever seen. I went here with a recommendation with a friend and during the experience the friend decided let me pay for it. I chose this place, I need to own up for picking a horrible place. I could go to a local convenience store and pick up some of the items and make a better plate than this place. Extremely Loud extremely filthy low grade food you'll wait forever. They just hire anybody off the street and say just go and serve no training whatsoever it's obvious. Please don't waste your time coming here. I also frequent some of the other businesses here during the daytime and here complaint from occupants for other stores that the employees park out front when there's plenty of parking out back for the employees it's almost impossible to get a parking place. To the owner of this place treat your customers better otherwise, you'll be out of business soon. And from what I've heard from some of the other store occupants they'll be happy to see you...
