I hate giving this place 4 stars. I really respect the quality they use to make their pizzas. I can tell they really care about making fresh pizzas to order, and while I’m not from New York, it’s promoted as New York Style pizza. We got a little of everything. We got the spinach and ricotta rolls, a salad with ranch, a pepperoni pizza, the Goombas supreme pizza, and a cannoli. The rolls were really good. The spinach tasted fresh and I went really enjoyed them. The salad was.. meh. Maybe I shouldn’t have picked ranch. I wasn’t crazy about the flavor and it was on. Now let’s talk about the pizza. I love the little stand son the table that they put the pizza on. It’s a fun presentation. I know they use fresh ingredients and a pizza oven, which you can taste, it the supreme pizza was extremely floppy. The second I picked it up, half of it dipped and toppings fell off. The pepperoni was the opposite. The crust was almost too tough (not crunchy), and it was hard for my son to bite through. The pizza was good, but for my tastes, it just wasn’t great. The dessert was polarizing. I thought it was really good but my wife disliked it. The bred or crust of the cannolis was really hard. It was hard to cut. But when you chewed it, I loved the flavors. So to me it was really good, but again, my wife was not a fan. So overall this is a good place. Try it out if you haven’t. For me, it’s just not going to be a “go-to” spot. There’s other pizza I like better.

2nd visit. As great as the first time. Medium meat lovers Pizza and an order of chicken wings and drinks- about $39 so not that cheap but was easy to share and had left overs... The pizza is very light on the sauce which I love... you have to have a good ratio of sauce to cheese and they do... and it's about that crust yum yum and wait a minute did I say yum. The chicken wings I ordered were the lemon pepper chicken wings and then had them extra crispy... they were REALLY great... that's probably one of the best lemon pepper wings I've had in town and they weren't overly salty like a lot tend to be... just perfect. And they have a Gold Peak tea machine, if you haven't had Gold Peak tea, you dont know what your missing...always a plus.... My friends ordered similar things... one friend ordered just two slices of pizza and a drink and those slices were really big. Look, I know you cant swing a red checked tablecloth without hitting a pizza joint but put this one on your list. Dont go there for the smiling customer service, they aren't rude, just not necessarily welcoming. But honestly its worth it for this pizza.

I recently tried Goomba’s Pizzeria, and while the food was decent, I don’t think it was worth the price. The pizzas are made from scratch, but that’s pretty standard for most pizzerias, and I didn’t notice anything particularly special about them. If they use fresh ingredients, it didn’t do much to enhance the flavor. The biggest letdown was the crust—it was extremely dry and crumbled apart while eating. Their marinara sauce lacked flavor, but on a positive note, the ranch was really good. The atmosphere had a somewhat Italian feel, but the restaurant had a lingering burnt smell, likely from old crust or crumbs left in the oven. They also had two arcade cabinets, but neither was working—maybe just for decoration? Overall, Goomba’s didn’t stand out for me. It wasn’t terrible, but for the price, I expected better quality and a more enjoyable experience.

We ordered 2 pizzas one for us and one for a neighbor at 230. We were told there would be a 3 hr wait, no big deal, we were mostly grateful that we would not have to cook.

Our pizza came in 20 min. At 710 their pizza had not come at all. I called and was told by that the pizza was already out.

Me: but you haven't asked the name or address yet. How do you know that? Them: the driver is out. Me: can you check to make sure you have the pizza order? Them: uh, okay. What is the name? Me: [name] Thwm: we don't have that. It will be 1.5 hours. Me: can you check by address? Them: okay what is the address? Me [address] checks credit card bill Them: no, you must not have ordered it. Me: I did, here is the bill, it shows a charge for 2 pizzas. Them:well ma'am, it will take 1.5 hours Me: No, y'all need to fire it newish, this family has waited for 5 hours for a pizza you said would take 3.

This was awful. I asked to speak with a manager. It turns out I was on the phone with the manager Albert. I asked for the store manager's name, he said she wasn't there ant it took several more demands to get the store manager's name. I don't know what is up.

We are in a crisis here, and honestly I get that things fall through cracks. Basic communication skills, an offer to get the pizza out on the next delivery are all we asked for. I didn't need free food, or speak rudely. I get the need to not delay pizzas for everyone, but cutting a pizza that is 2 hours late to the front of the line is like a 10 min slowdown maximum.

Most of the call was me asking Albert to do the basics of his job and talk him through how to do it. That is a problem. There needs to be...

Bad.As someone who is a self proclaimed pizza critic, I'm always on the lookout for new pizza places. You see, Pizza is my favorite meal, and after I moved away from NY in 2007, I been searching high and low for good pizza places.

When Goomba's Pizzeria opened next to my office, I was a little excited. I had tried Rome's pizza, and it wasn't 'bad'. So I sent in today to try it out.

First thing I noticed was that the actual resturant was nice and clean. It looked like a pizza place. As I stood line and watched the multitude of 18 year olds scurry around.

Watching the pizza slices come out of the oven, I noticed that some were undercooked, while others burned.

I ordered my two slices/soda (one plain, one with sausage) to try it out. When they arrived, they were nicely hot.

I should have stopped after the first bite. The sauce, obviously from a can, tasted like campbells tomato soup. The crust, though NY thin, was way undercooked, and the cheez waz burnt. Go figure. Under cooked and burt at the same time..Pizza oven temp must way off

I wanted to talk to the owner, but alas, he was not there. If he was there, I'd ask him to rethink his sauce, check his oven, and try to get someone in there who has actually cooked a pizza before.

So, yuk yuk yuk; 2 hours later and I still taste the rancidness of the Goomba's pizzaria.

Never...
