Jimmy John's — Restaurant in San Antonio

So I made an order online for pick-up because they have a promotion for 20% off doing so. I paid through the app, which I have done plenty of times. I get there and they tell me I haven't paid for my food, so I show them that it went through on my bank account. The lady in the front wasn't sure how to handle this, so needed to call her GM to figure how to handle it.

According to her GM, since it was pending on my end, and it didn’t go through on their end, I had to pay for it again, but they were going to void out the first charge showing on my end and said it would fall off. I was a little hesitant to do this, because the logic did not make sense.

Just because it's pending doesn't mean it didn't go through.

But whatever I decided I would pay for it anyhow because we were there, I was hungry and that's basically the only option she gave me.

The icing on the cake was she voided it out then rang up my same order and then tells me that it’s going to be more or less $10 more because they couldn’t honor the promotion. I know for a fact that they could have somehow honored it or gave me some type of discount. The whole reason I went there to pick it up was because of the discount. How do they say that they are not at fault for the charges going through and then they decide they want to charge me more and not honor the nationwide promotion. It was ridiculous, unorganized and this was two days ago and the charge is still pending on my account which should have been voided out.

I probably would’ve given five stars because I love that place and I haven’t really had too many issues with my orders, but that was just awful and I felt like they were not trying to take care of their...

The Delivery service is a joke, dont bother tipping them. You're much better off just going there in person to get the food.

The drivers dont knock on the door or ring the doorbell when delivering food. They just show up, drop off the food, sometimes literally, and then leave. My orders sometimes were left outside for long that they either were stolen or were no long edible. And all bc they never rang the doorbell or knocked. I get it, lunch time its extremely busy, i figured thats why it took so long, but after i check the door randomly its been delivered god knows when. Never any ice in drinks so drinks are always warm. Cant give a good review on the food bc half the time the sandwiches are warm. But it reminds a mystery why i'll never tip at...

Food was good as usual however I placed an order online for pick up so I went in and watched everyone who walked in after me get served before me. I had to get the employees attention and ask if about my order even though they saw me standing there I was never offered any help or asked if I needed anything. The employees were too busy talking sports than following the order in which the orders were placed. What's the point in placing an order ahead of time if I'm still going to have to wait till people that ordered after me are served before me!?
