Little Woodrow's Babcock — Restaurant in San Antonio

Our group was there less than an hour and our server took forever to get us one round. So we go up to the bar for our next order and the staff says we're cut off. It was the start of our nights and the waitress at the bar apologized profusely saying that's our GM's decision. But the GM never spoke to us or even worked outside on the patio at any point that night. The management seems to be the issue with several of your reviews for this location. Our server Jasmine wasn't great either but I don't know the story there, maybe she was busy or being overworked by the bad management. We tried to get our own drinks but again the GM who we had zero interactions with before we were being apologized to at the bar was denying us service. When we asked her questions she clearly got caught in her own lies and just committed to the act. She ended up letting us get another round and making excuses but she was on a power trip. We ended up leaving and having a better night afterwards. It was last night (9/25), the GM had short blonde hair and a yellow blouse. The door man was nice, the entire staff had no reason behind why the GM made that decision. Jasmine was nice for the first round and then disappeared for the rest of the night. To have to argue with a rude GM to finally get served a second round wasn't worth it to us. I do think she started to realize that she was giving us a fantasy story but we weren't going to fight for another round again. She was on a straight up power trip and none of your staff were willing to defend her bad call so ask anyone working there that night, I'm sure they'll know...

I LOOOOOVE LITTLE WOODROW'S!!! People have so much crap to talk about this place, but it's really a nice place to hang out and have a good time. Now, I will admit that if you go here, be prepared to spend some money. They are a bit more pricey than other places, but not ridiculous. They have AWESOME food!!! My favorites are the Breakfast burger, chicken strips and the fries! It's a very nice place to chill. Definitely a spot I may consider to have my Bday party lol. Has tons of tvs all over the place, games, lounge area near the entrance with couches, an awesome patio with lots of seating and a couple more tvs, pool tables, private karaoke rooms and all different types of seats; picnic table style, bar top seating, booths etc. They also have different events throughout the week, to name a couple; Live Turtle Racing on Thursday's, Trivia Tuesday's and even major events a couple times a year like MIDGET WRESTLING! I went this last time for midget wrestling and I have to say, all the 100s of times I have been there, that was the first time I had ever seen it hit capacity where there was a line outside lol. It was CROWDED like crazy, but the BEST TIME I'D EVER HAD THERE!!! And there is NEVER a cover to get in! Definitely an awesome place to chill. The waitresses are awesome, especially Kim! Don't be discouraged by the negative things people have to say... there are ALWAYS going to be people who complain about EVERYTHING! Judge it for yourself and go...

The food wasn’t great. I ordered a bbq bacon burger and when they brought it to my table at least 55mins later they said they made it backwards then gave it to me anyway and when I looked at it the burger was like a salad and the items inside weren’t nearly organized in the toothpick so I was definitely disappointed. The service was terrible because when I was asking about my order the individual assisting me went to the back and never came back until my order was ready and was even walking around helping others and when I asked to pay I was waiting for at least ten minutes before I got up and got ahold of numerous other people who eventually had the person bring me my check about another ten minutes after that. I highly wouldn’t recommend this place. I would recommend Dough Pizzeria Napolitana, Perry’s Steakhouse and Santa Diabla though & my fiancé got a quesadilla at this place and it wasn’t great and the location of this place is terrible and I didn’t like the parking lot. I’ve never had to wait an hour for food anywhere and I eat out a lot. The ridiculous part is how someone at my table ordered after me and they got their order first and then when I got my order finally another person at my table who got there like 30mins after I did got their order as well like five minutes after. Is it because I asked for a virgin mojito? Sorry I’m not...
