I wouldn’t even give this one star. The place is always dirty, restaurant can be dead at times and the staff just leave plates and mess there while we have to clean it ourselves. God forbid we ask for any refills, the staff acts as if they’re doing us a favor. What happened to good customer service?? All we ever see are the young people flirting, playing on their phones etc. Since this we have resorted to ordering and still, they manage to do a piss poor job at this. When we arrived home tonight not only was my potato soup burnt, they didn’t even manage to fill it up more than half ways, forgot our chips, and now they’re charging for extra pumps of their flavored teas??? For what we pay, they could have at least given us what we paid for. I do not and would not recommend this place to anyone. They make a pretty penny of us but they are cheap, terrible service and although they’re rude, we remain pleasant as we do not behave ignorant. This place needs better management, cooks who don’t roll their eyes at customers simply because we once got there 5 minutes before they closed. They never have tried to rectify our problems and I’m sure they’ll have more customers, I hope management reads this and make some changes. Hire people who actually want a job, are courteous, and have some pride in their job. Clean up, fulfill our orders as we do pay in full and yet receive...
Read moreAttempted to make a online pickup at this location, but this specific location did not show up in the application. I still wanted a nice sandwich and soup from there, so I drove the facility. Four employees were inside (and nobody else), and when I entered no one greeted me. A simple greeting can change any customer's mood, but I digress.
I asked why their location was not listed on the online app, and the manager on duty (all four of the employees were listening) said that they had turned it off for the day. When I inquired why they would do that, the answer was a shoulder shrug and 'because we wanted too'.
I ordered a McCalister's Club and Potato Soup in a bread bowl. While the club sandwich was tasty, the potato soup was water like in consistency, and smelled rancid. If you didn't know, the USDA recommends that hot foods be stored at 140*F for no more than 2 hours. This potato soup was either stored in a warm temperature, or more likely, held for longer than 2 hours and water was probably added to 'extend the soup life, so we don't have to make any more soup today'. Needless to say, I did not eat the soup.
While McAlister's still a great sandwich shop in my opinion, I can not and do not recommend this specific...
Read moreSpent 20 minutes in line, was called by the grumpy female cashier and she informed me that they are out of spuds, no apologizes, nothing. Why not to make a note in the door since this is their staple menu item? Half of the line behind me left after they’ve heard the cashier. Another problem with this location: the app doesn’t have an option to add cheddar-jack to the spud. Brought to personnel’s attention multiple times, they assured to fix it and nothing is fixed. I try to use the app to save my lunch time but have to stay in line and then wait for the order for a long time. The location has the cheddar-lack option if I place an order in person. With other location I visit sometimes I didn’t notice this issue. This problem prevented me from ordering a big lunch for my colleagues, I ordered from Panera in the same area. Overall, the service is always unfriendly and the food (in most cases) prepared very sloppy (but it’s conveniently located), they often forget utensils for the to-go order, and when asked an extra pickles - it was...
