I came here twice today. The first time, I was picking up an order I made through the app. An older white man, outside of uniform in a button down shirt, I'm assuming was a manager, acknowledged me AFTER I asked if I could have the chocolate syrup I ordered for my beignets. He rudely said "Did you order it?" then proceeded to look at my bag after I answered "yes". He handed me the syrup then walked away. I spent $42 this time with $5.50 of that being a tip.
Second visit was to get my mother a coffee. I opted for curbside and no tip, partially due to the previous service and because I had my toddler with me. The app had me put in my car details for curbside. I saw them set my order at the pickup area and continue doing things. There was 1 other person inside. I waited 5 minutes before I called and said I was sitting in curbside waiting for my coffee. The young woman that answered said she would bring it out. When she got to my window, she stated they don't do curbside. I replied that it says they do on the app, on the sign I'm parked in front of, and it said curbside on the ticket sticker attached to my cup. She said she would double check that with her manager at another time. I thanked her and drove away.
I'm not the only review that mention this curbside issue and I'm sure I won't be the last. It seems the baristas don't read the tickets that are printed outside of what the coffee is. If you don't do curbside, fine. Don't offer it and don't get an attitude when people expect something that is offered. The one near Camp Bullis is infinitely better. Have them train the employees at...
Read moreSeriously guys, what on earth are you doing? I like this place a lot. I have been wanting to come here since I got back in town but schedule kept me from being able to. I finally make it and order my café au lait, and they’re out. She’s not gonna make more so we say fine. We’ll take what you have the light roast. “It’ll have to be a small there’s not enough for 2 cups.“ a coffee shop that’s out of coffee? Won’t makeany more? How long was that one small cup of coffee’s worth sitting in that machine? Many questions, few answers. We tried to work with the employee and say well what do you got? A coffee shop without coffee it doesn’t leave us much to work with. I’m not sure if it’s a bad policy or laziness on the part of the employee, but I don’t wanna be relegated to coming in and asking. “What do...
Read moreFirst time trying out this place and I was not disappointed! I was skeptical going in, but it’s such a cute and relaxing cafe. There’s a printer if you need to print things out. I forgot to ask the names of the people who helped me with my order, but it was an older man with black glasses and a younger person with metal octagon glasses, I think? Both were very sweet. I tried the honey oat latte, hot, and it was delicious. The applewood bacon and egg sandwich was delicious as well. It was very filling because of the egg and cheese, and the biscuit wasn’t dry. I tried beignets and I don’t know if it’s because this is Texas, but they tasted better than the ones I tried in Louisiana 10 years ago. The blueberry muffin was tasty as well. Overall, very impressed with this place. I’m definitely...
