I had better customer service and i was the client. They had alot of attitude while I was ordering my sandwich with my kids, and they where slow i was the only customer other than another person finishing their meal. Its almost like they didn't want to work at 3pm on a Friday. they kept mean mugging me until I left and i didn't notice my son dropped his balloon from Cookie Cutters they didnt even let me know they just stared and mean mugged me until i ran inside i picked it the balloon that was right infront of them and then, they went back to gossip in a little circle. Now im from Houston, all my years of living I've never experienced such childish mean girl behavior. I don't understand the meaning behind it. I think they just thought i was a young single hispanic mother of two they can be rude too because they felt like they where better than me but im actually married i was just visiting from out of town but NEVER AGAIN. The Italian sandwich i ordered was delicious. Product was great but service was bad. Definitely need to work on the basics. Nothing rude was said but definitely the vibe and the staring and the mean mugging was...

I visited this Potbellyâs location and was very disappointed with their food handling practices. While preparing my sandwich, I watched the employee place ham directly on the scale without wiping it down, using parchment, or putting down any kind of barrier. When I asked if they could place something underneath the meat before weighing it, the response was simply that they âsanitize it.â
The scale clearly wasnât clean. I could still see leftover meat on it and given that this location serves chicken, turkey, roast beef, pork, and more, cross-contamination should be a major concern. Customers should never have to point out that a dirty scale needs to be wiped before food is placed on it.
What makes this even more frustrating is that Iâve experienced this same issue at other Potbellyâs locations. I drove farther out to this store specifically hoping it would be different, but unfortunately the same unsanitary practice was happening here as well.
Food safety should always come first, and this experience left me questioning whether proper sanitary practices are being followed...
Read moreI ordered yesterday off doordash and called the store explaining i was allergic to the meat Capicola on the italian sandwich and the woman told me it would be no problem to trade it out for turkey. Called today and the manager Waldo i think his name is? Starts with a W. But he was very rude and nasty and said iâd have to pay 4 extra dollars to substitute the turkey. i said i did it yesterday w no problems and he told me he would do it for me today since i already made the order but going forward id have to pay extra. i asked him how do i do double meat on door dash and he was very rude and nasty and told me to basically figure out myself then hung up the phone in my face. When i got my order, he still put the Capicola I am allergic to on the sandwich so it was inedible. Luckily, door dash refunded the whole order but it is sad when store managers are so disturbingly disrespectful, you canât even call someone for an issue to be resolved bc the manager has no empathy in situations. Wonât be...
