Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in San Antonio

I sure hope someone with influence in the company sees this comment because let me tell you something about this location. My mother went to get an order and one of the things was the foot-long hotdog and she asked for extra jalapenos and another part of the order was a slushie with the nerds. When the order was brought there was NO jalapenos on the hotdog or on the side and the slushie came with no nerds. My mom brought it to the boys' attention (It was on the dang receipt too isn't that crazy?) and he came back with a tiny cup of jalapenos. It was determined that the amount wasn't enough because the person eating this hotdog LOVES jalapenos, lots of em. So instead of providing GOOD customer service and a can-do attitude to make amends for their initial mistakes, the manager makes a fuss over charging EVEN more for jalapenos; need I remind you it costs a dollar just to have the jalapenos. So my mother stood her ground and said it wasn't okay, it wasn't enough, so the manager sends the boy out with a lil cup with literally TWO MORE jalapenos?! I couldn't believe the disrespect I was hearing over the phone (I was talking to my mom while she was going through this). I needed to post this just to warn those who are interested in going to Sonic to avoid this specific location LIKE THE PLAGUE. The food WASNT fresh, it was alllllll coooooold and the cheese on the burger looked OLD and the tots were GREYISH looking (I used to work at this location years ago, I remember tots looking gold and cripsy!). This is just another lesson for us to not order fast food because not only is it literally terrible for your body but the energy within the environment is simply toxic. If anyone with authority sees this comment I recommend shutting that location down because I've been to plenty of EXCELLENT Sonics in the past and this location is an absolute. Joke. No, it's not even funny, its almost as if that manager intentionally or even enjoys being awful to people. P.S. And then when we got home, we noticed my Banana Nutter Butter shake was just a Banana vanilla...

So I ordered 5 Super Sonic Breakfast Burritos from this location through DoorDash. I asked them to "hold the cheese" because I had a person with a milk allergy in the house. I posted 2 photos for you here. The 1st one had only 1 strip of bacon, and a tiny bit of egg in a MASSIVE Tortilla (mind you this is supposed to be a LOADED BURRITO, NOT A TACO), ok, so I complain, they resend the order within an hour. The 2nd time, they sent the same thing, only with 3 tater tots added per "burrito". It's a tiny amount of food for what I paid. I was SO SURE they'd be more careful to get the order right the next time. They were NOT careful the next time, either. Whoever was working on putting DoorDash orders together on Sunday, January 7th, 2024, from around 1pm to 3pm should be FIRED. They refunded my order, so I'll give them that credit, but I will never trust this Sonic again, unless they are firing said slacker employee, and hiring responsible ones who don't take advantage by skimping on quality of online orders, simply because they know their customer won't complain directly to their face about...

This location is AWFUL. I drive the extra 10 minutes down to Goliad and Military be she they seem to be the only Sonic with their stuff together!

This location is terrible however. I work for DoorDash and every time I arrive to take an order, especially in the morning, I almost always get NO service. They act closed, they don’t answer the button speakers or the drive through. I stopped accepted orders for this Sonic because the last time I went, I had to walk into the kitchen to get ANYONES attention. And THEN the DD order was just sitting there, slushees melted and food cold. Worst employees ever, especially the morning crew.

When I tend to go to Sonic it’s in the evening. Every time I place a mobile order to save time and get my order faster, I show up to their stalls being close and just the drive through open, lime wrapped around the building. I save time going to farther locations because I don’t have to deal with these ridiculous waits. So much better! Again, Goliad and Military is...
