This will be long….
Decided to get tacos with my kids so we went through the drive thru. At 3:02pm (according to the ticket) Ordered 3 bean tacos, 2 potato and egg tacos, one bacon and egg with a strip of bacon and one bean and cheese taco. I get my tacos and I decided to check them bc the lady that took my order seemed a like she was having trouble understanding my order in spite me repeating it. I open the bag in the parking lot immediately after we get them. Inside is 3 potato and egg, 2 bacon and egg (mixed), 2 bean and cheese. Absolutely NOT what I ordered. I look at the ticket stapled to the bag it says 1 special bean and cheese taco, 2 papa and egg taco, 1 bacon and egg. Well the tacos inside don’t even match the ticket and the ticket doesn’t even match my order, so inside I go (bc the drive thru line is now past the intercom) with my two kids.
I go inside and there is a young gentleman at the register, I let him know what happened and he tells one of the ladies that walked through the dining area back towards the back. They’re discussing it and give me a look like they don’t know what’s going on. I give him all the tacos and the ticket and told him it wasn’t what I ordered and told him what I actually ordered. He was apologetic and said he would get them right out. By this time it is 3:12pm. They’re talking amongst themselves blaming it on a worker that “ isn’t there anymore.” So my two kids and I are patiently waiting in the waiting area, they’re getting toys from their vending machines and playing. After about 5-10 min One by one a worker from the back come up to me asking me what my order was. Finally the last lady was older and came up to me and said “are you the lady with the tacos? What did you order?” I gave her my order and she said “did you really order that?” I immediately was taken back and now no longer patient. I said “excuse me are you giving me attitude right now? Bc it is sounding like you are saying I didn’t actually order that”
She quickly changed her tone to “nicer” and said no we’re just all trying to figure out what your order is and who ordered it. I said it doesn’t matter, I already gave the young man my order so that should be it” she nods her head and walks back to the kitchen. After about 5 min of still nothing (by this time I’ve been at the restaurant for 35 minutes waiting on 7 BASIC tacos). I tell the gentleman to forget it and to just give me my money back. He said “oh well they’re making them right now” by this time I’m LIVID with how long I’ve been waiting 37 minutes. I tell him “at this point, I just want my money back back bc it’s been 30 plus minutes since I’ve been waiting for my order”
I lost it. I had already been waiting 30 min from the time I ordered and I told the guy up front to forget it and just give me my money back. I told him how ridiculous it was that I was STILL waiting and he said “well ma’am this isn’t fast food!” I said “it is fast food bc I ordered it from drive thru! So technically my tacos should have been ready 20 min ago! It’s not my fault YALL messed up and I’m having to come inside for y’all to get my order right” I said “ give me my money back!” “He said “they’re making them right now!” i said “still? It’s been 20 min since I walked in and 40 min since I first ordered them” he said “well there’s other people in the drive thru that we have to make their tacos” I said “hmmm I’ve been here before all of them, don’t you think my order takes precedence? I doubt the person that got here 5 min ago should get their food before me”
I said do you think I like having to get out of the car WITH the kids bc y’all messed up the order, then for y’all to continuously question me on what I ordered. He said “it’s bc we’re trying to find it”
He said “how do I know you didn’t get the tacos from somewhere else and just brought them here”
I said “the order is right there! Why would I waste my time bringing in fresh tacos!?”
This experience was absolutely WILD to me. As someone who has worked in the food industry for over a decade, this was handled...

So we came back and ate here one early morning again it was amazing I ordered the Ranchero eggs, w/ barbacoa and was amazing. Staff was very kind and friendly. I still don't go to other locations because I'm afraid I will be let down but this location since I found it on the Google I'm super satisfied with it that I didn't mind driving 20min from where I was at close to downtown S.A for me was well worth the drive. Thank you. And I will return next time I'm in town. I know there was one abt 1 mile from where I was but parking is NO Bueno so I went ton and drove the 20min instead. No regret and awesome portions.
This place was super good. I was at the nearby Cantera, and I was there too early for a Sunday store open noon. Meanwhile, I wanted to kill time and was hungry for breakfast, so I got this GPS restaurant near me, and this popped out and said it's close by. Give it a try, and we did. Was very good. I was amazed with their Babacoa, which was super good. Had to ask for a sample cuz, I've had bad experience in other restaurants and it isn't what it says but this place was very good I will return. Because the portions were very well served, I can't complain. The only thing that bothered me was that the menu was on the wall, and I was taking the pic. Staff member came to me and said it's on the website that kinda bothered me. Because most people are not savvy with that, take pic with the phone and review it. Simple, but I didn't like his approach with that. Not too professional kinda rude. But I ignored it and just went about my business. So, I took pics anyway and...
Read moreWe were lost in San Antonio, and decided to grab a bite to eat while we looked up directions. We're always down for tacos, so when we saw the sign, we headed over.
The menu was quite extensive, not only did they have tacos, they had so many other options. They have traditional soups, like menudo and caldo, tortas, and nachos. The variety of mexican plates and grilled plates is impressive. Carne asada, mole, and menudo available during the week is hard to come by.
Their breakfast offerings were great. Chilaquiles aren't usually something you see, but they have it here. For those who need even more of a variety, they have burgers, grilled cheese, and pancake and french toast. I don't care who you are, but I am damn sure you'll find something delicious to eat here.
After talking with Bobby, the operations director, and asking him a about the menu, we ordered the mini taco plate with half carne asada and al pastor. It came with frijoles charros, and they we're SO GOOD! We also got the cheese enchiladas w/mole sauce instead of the gravy. The mole flavor reminded me of my mom❤️
They also have lots of beers on draft, and frozen drinks. The manager, Jesus, was fantastic and recommended the mango daiquiri with chamoy and tajin. It had plenty of rum, without being too strong and the chamoy and tajin took it to a whole new level. Definitely a must try.
You need to make it a point to eat here....
