My wife and 3 daughters love Kendra Scott jewelry. Even as of recently our family grew when our son was born my daughters (ages 8,6, and 4yrs old) suggested we get mom earings from Kendra scott as a push present. To say the least we have been customers for several years. I write this today 1-16-2024 (my wife's birthday) because our experience today was exceptionally disappointing. Around 2 p.m. My wife, 2 children and I go into the la cantera location. My wife knew what she wanted but still begins to peruse. I sit down at what seems to be a waiting area at the entrance. I notice that no one greets us. People come in after and they're greeted. At some point an employee comments on my wife's outfit but doesn't offer assistance. Same employee greets a person who comes in after and offers assistance to them. My wife then comes up to me after a while passes and expresses that she feels uncomfortable and is getting a vibe that the employees for some reason aren't treating her the same as other people walking in. Im sitting in the front of the store with my children and am well aware because I'm seeing it from my p.o.v. She wants to leave and not buy anything after all but I encourage her to just go ask for help. A woman walks out from the employee area in the back and ask my wife what she needs. My wife shows her a Kendra scott necklace she's wearing and says she's looking for the same item with a different stone. The woman doesn't go to the back to check if they have it she just tells my wife if we have it we'll take it up front for you. The woman continues to walk around the store in my direction when whoever the gentleman working the register approaches my wife to ask if she needs assistance. As my wife speaks to him the woman yells across the store relaying what my wife told her the gentleman says yeah I'll go check and I see this woman nod her head "no". My wife may not have seen because she was facing the guy and the woman was behind her. But I saw. This is when I get the feeling we are being treated unfairly. The gentleman helps my wife and I appreciate you for that if you get to read this. At this point im noticing the woman and other employees are vigilantly making sure merchandise is in its place. Pacing back and forth when there's no one else in the store anymore just us and one other couple in the back. It may be your job but I sat in the front feet away from any merch to allow my wife to shop and tended to my children. Somehow you managed to make both my wife and I feel uncomfortable as if we were trying to steal. Or that we were unwelcome for whatever reason. I would imagine you wouldn't want your loved ones to be treated unfairly or made to feel how you made us feel today. I can say because of all of our previous experiences today most of the employees working when we went did not provide the same customer service we enjoy and had expected. We brushed it off after we left to not let it ruin our entire day. It being my wife's birthday and the incident being so fresh she's already shared this story with multiple people.    Read moreI had the worst experience at the Kendra Scott store, La Cantera. I ordered three beautiful necklaces online, for store pickup, hoping to avoid the long lines at the Kendra Scott store. I received my confirmation email from Kendra Scott letting me know that my necklaces were ready for pick up at the La Cantera store.
When I arrived at the store, sure enough, there were at least 10 customers waiting in a line outside the store -allowed in one at a time. I was so happy that I had ordered my necklaces online for store pickup. I knew I would have a minimum wait and I would be on my way!! But . . . Not so fast!!
There was a Kendra Scott associate standing outside, managing the long line of customers waiting to go in. I approached her and told her I had an online order for store pick up. She asked me my name (first time) and told me to stand in a separate place by the the front door. I had high hopes that I would receive my store pick up within minutes.
The outdoor associate was equipped with a headset and microphone to communicate with the associates inside the store. I observed her calling inside over and over for someone to bring out my online order. There was no response. I kept âchecking inâ with the outside associate and she repeatedly asked me for my name. Why did she keep forgetting my name? I gave it to her half a dozen times as I continued waiting.
In the meantime, the 10 customers waiting outside the store had already been allowed to enter. At least another 10 customers had joined the line waiting outside. I was never allowed to go inside the store.
Bottom line, after telling over three separate associates my name over and over, I had to wait at least another 30 minutes for my online order, store pickup to be brought outside to me. I asked to speak with the manager, who said she was sorry, making excuses that the microphones they used donât work well, they were busy, etc. She had very fake, sugary smile and batted her fake eyelashes at me. She was not sincere, never offered a plan of action or validated the 30 minutes I had to wait for my online order, store pick up. I was so fed up, I later returned all three of my necklaces and have decided to never patronize Kendra Scott again.
Beware of this store and the associates - they lack initiative, motivation, and any sense of urgency to get the job done. It is almost laughable to think ordering online first will expedite your store experience! Kendra Scott does not have their act together and have lost me...

I purchased necklace and earring for my birthday and had an amazing experience with my helper, so much that decide to go back for my husband birthday as they offer 50% off one piece jewelry for his birthday. Let me tell you that experience when so bad first I explain to the person who might seem like the manager of the store as she telling the cashier register what not to do, and that i need scan-bar code to get discount. I also sign up to text to get the 15% off and received the text, and she inform me that the code can only be use online only which seems to me way off then why offer in store if it doesnât work in-store? And What the point of having it in store? Second, I inform her that my previous purchased item had my initial and I felt like the stone was flipping because of it, and that if they would remove it. She informed me that the necklace comes like that, and that they cannot remove it. She would also recommend that I do not remove it as a prone thin. My reply to that was the necklace is my necklace then I guess i can remove it if i would like to do so. After that the women was always negative on anything I would asked like can i get different stone for my interchange earring she would say no that I would have to buy a whole new set of earring in order to get a different stone which to me that seem like not right at all because if you just want to by the prone and the stone we as costumer should be able to do as desire. After that it was all âNOâ with everything else I asked and it seem to me that I was asking for too much and that i should just be happy with getting one piece for 50% off. Her customer skills were horrible, and she seems like she was mad with me while she was helping me. This is the reason for my review as I felt I was treated so poor by this manager/bossy person that I decided to write a review because we spend pretty good money in this store for them to treat me like. She acted like she was doing me a favor instead of working there. An my husband would not been there buying me a christmas present/Birthday gift if it was not for me. Stay away from this location pretty sure there more nicer store that you can attend.
