Check your receipts. They charge you 20% gratuity without asking you how much you want to give.
20%??? I was not sitting at a table on a restaurant and ordered food and drinks. No server came to my table to serve me. Yet, I was charged 20% gratuity!
Asumming the amount of 20% gratuity that I would have given is presumptious! The level of service the person behind the counter who gave me my order...a CUP OF COFFEE should equate to the level of service to warrant a 20% gratuity! It was not a fancy drink that I ordered...it was a cup of coffee only.
This is like stealing from under my nose. Don't get me wrong. I normally give a gratuity with my orders. But to do a Ninja move and do it without me knowing is BAD SERVICE. NEVER GOING TO THIS STARBUCKS AGAIN! SHAME ON THE STORE MANAGER TO ALLOW HER EMPLOEEES TO DO THIS!

I'm honestly confused on how to rate this. I have begun frequenting the starbucks near Tanofran malls, mostly because of the late night hours they are open for. It is a pretty good location but combined with the late hours it can attract some unscrupulous characters. That is my only issue with that location.
The store at Cherry ave is bigger and more spread out so you have more room when you sit and more places to sit. It also has a much cleaner pleasant vibe.

   Read moreI go to this location all the time and everything is usually great! However this morning i had ordered my drink and when i received it, it was not full to the top. I had asked the barista about it, she seemed annoyed and told me thats how the drink was, that she hadnt shaken it (it was a shaken espresso) and something about the amount they put into the drink. And while i get that mistakes happen i feel like instead of offering me a better experience (being made a new drink, a discount, literally anything) i was essentially told that âit is what it isâ and was forced to pay for a drink that was not at all their usual standard.
