Not only is the pizza absolutely delicious, but Angry Pete uses quality ingredients—including ingredients local to San Diego and to Michigan when he can get them. The pizza toppings are always extremely creative, and they always exceed expectations. This is pizza you will crave constantly, and it will always satisfy. You won’t find a better Detroit style pizza (even in Detroit), and you won’t find a better pizza, period. The crust is crunchy and cheesey on the outside, but soft and flavorful on the inside. This pizza is so delicious! Me and my hubby were looking for a different pizza joint for a quick grab and go but we were tired of the other regular pizza joints. He looked it up and it was really close to home. It’s a little hole in the wall and well worth it. The pie is served as a personal pan pizza; square cut to 4 pieces. It’s the only version they have but it’s so filling with just two of the 4 pieces. It comes with Parmesan and fresh basil sprouts. I really love this place now and it’s going to be my go to pizza...

The best Detroit Style Pizza in Southern California!! (And I’m from Detroit, so . . . ). First of all, the dough is thick, but some how still light and airy. And of course it’s square, so there’s the crispy, burnt cheese edges on every piece. I’ve only purchased the half baked double pepperoni and cheese to take home and bake, and they are both bomb.
