Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in San Diego

Wow. I’m a frequent chick fil a atendee but this was by far my worse experience.

First, the drive through was dangerous. Only two lines were open at 3:20pm. A line of cars were looking out into the street at the bottom of the hill AND in the parking lot. Only one car can fit at a time. The line was barely moving.

People trying to get past the chaos and go from the parking lot to the street were stuck. Cars who were waiting in the street couldn’t see there was a line above them and consistently would cut off anyone trying to enter from the parking lot.

A third lane finally opened by a lady in a gray shirt. She took the order of one car and was slow to do it. I was in the car behind. When I pulled up, she didn’t address me. She called over another employee from the store (a girl in a red shirt and short, curly hair with a big Hawaiian looking flower in it). They talked to each other and swapped places. The new girl was nice, but also very slow. So much drive through space in front of me was empty while a line of cars were in a dangerous situation (lots of honking and close misses).

I gave her my name, but I guess she didn’t write it down because when I picked up my order, they called the name in the app instead of the one I gave.

I’m driving and trying to put my straw into the cup when tea starts pooling out of the top. It’s sticky and all over my hands and cup holder now. When I finally pull over to see why I can’t put the straw in, I realize that the part that you put the lid in is SEALED SHUT. I spent about a minute prying it open.

Finally, it’s meal time. I’m very frustrated at this point - from the aggressive drivers in the drive through line, to the slow service, to the incorrect name, to not having my drink when I was driving like I expected to, to having sticky hands. But it’s okay, because the fool is here. I’m parked and have nothing to do but eat.

But even THAT gets messed up. I twist open my ketchup packet and It’s fine. I twist over the second ketchup packet and it FLIES UPWARD ONTO MY CAR. Legit, it looked like a water fountain - but of thick, red ketchup lol. It got into the fabric on my mirror, the fabric behind my mirror, the windshield, the fabric on my steering wheel cover, the buttons on the steering wheel, the fabric of my pants and shirt, and my shoes.

I’m so over this chick fil a run yall LOL the entire experience has been awful. I don’t know what more can happen, but I’m scared to open my sandwich.

In summary: Absolutely no line safety (yall should’ve put cones out to keep people from being in the street during peak hours or st least had someone directing the traffic), slow lines and service, and defected products (drink lid and ketchup pouch).

Absolutely waste of a trip lol.

Also, if you ever are wondering what rewards this particular branch gives app users, it’s only “free delivery” (for a small radius around the store). Been coming year for years and never once received a reward from them I could actually use. I wish this manager would take some notes from my old Chick Fil A from New York; they’d give us people chicken sandwiches as rewards 🙄

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chick-fil-A and I must say, their Spicy Burger and Fries completely blew me away! This fast-food restaurant truly knows how to create a meal that is bursting with flavor and satisfaction.

The Spicy Burger at Chick-fil-A is a true masterpiece. From the moment I took my first bite, I was instantly greeted with a delightful combination of spices that infused every layer of the burger. The whole dining experience was seamless, from ordering to receiving our food in no time. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and had a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

In conclusion, Chick-fil-A deserves every bit of praise for their Spicy Burger and Fries. If you're looking for a fast-food restaurant that goes above and beyond in delivering mouthwatering flavors, look no further. I can confidently say that Chick-fil-A has set the bar incredibly high. UPDATE: My drive thru experience has been the absolute worst especially with Manager Hailey & Hannah I placed a order for a Cobb salad with a warm filet , I received a Cobb salad with fried chicken bits and I also order a fried chicken sandwhich deluxe my sandwhich came wrapped in a breakfast wrap … lettuce and tomatoes were soggy ….the chicken was not breaded properly it was literally falling apart ! That was so unacceptable, After getting my order wrong Hailey had the audacity to ask me if I came a few days ago when Hannah was acting as manager and I asked what is the significance of her question and she literally sucked her teeth threw up her hands and said I can’t talk to you . Remind you my correct order is literally in front of her all she had to do was hand me the hot food , instead she left the food on the counter ,outside ,wind blowing , food getting cold , she brings a gentlemen to the window who heard the concerns and agreed that it would be insane to hand me the bag of food in front of him that has been sitting and to remake another order that I would have to wait for this is suppose to be a convenient fast food service . INSANE !

Never coming back I do not recommend pulling up to this chic fil a . You are better off ordering online.
