This is just a blanket review for all the Del Tacos I have visited in the past few years. I stopped going to Del Taco after being literally ignored while waiting to place an order in store and the customer that came in well after me was helped. My consultation prize was a go away $10 coupon. Also inquired on a point redemption that shows me ordering in another state that I have not been in since I was a young teen. Never even got a response. I vowed never to go to a Del Taco again. As a customer that has put Del Taco above Taco Bell for decades, you would think they would value me as a customer. I was forced to go to Del Taco when they took over my local Naugles in Orange County and brought some of the items with them. I missed Naugles but Del Taco was a close replacement. Recently I found myself in a situation that had my wallet thin and my food options small. In a hurry and haste, I went to the Mission Valley location. Figured I could save some bucks. $13.00 later and what I would call a child size burrito, cold fries and small drink, I left feeling ripped off. I know take out is expensive these days, but the amount of food and poor quality left me kicking myself and telling myself "they got me again". You know the saying about fool me once. I will NEVER go to a Del Taco again and would suggest others stay away as well. For the same price one can get an authentic burrito 3 times the size at most taco shops in the area. Living in San Diego there are certainly options. To top this all off, my kids saw roaches in the MV location and have pictures. Shame on Del Taco for not giving their customers, that actually are the ones that sign their paychecks, the...
Read moreWait time to order was too long then when I get to the menu to order the staff, which her name was Tanya was not professional! I waited another 5 minutes with no one saying anything over the intercom so I had to say hello like 5 different times. Then when someone finally comes on all they say is Del Taco loud then says hold on and is talking in the background with the mic still on. I did not get no thank you for waiting or sorry for the wait what can I get for you, she didn't greet me, didn't acknowledge I was even there, didn't tell me the right total so when I get to the window I asked her to repeat my order to confirm my order was right but total amount was wrong. She didn't tell me the total she just ran my card I had to check the receipt for the adjusted total. Then after she gave me 3 bags I asked her if that was all of it so I know to drive off she didn't say anything. I said thank you twice to make sure to let her know I'm driving off and I hope that is it but no she still didn't say a dam thing just looked at me! So annoyed with Tanya and her unprofessionalism and this location cause this is close to my house and I have been here before, I have never had this problem before she must be new or I just haven't been here in a while. Del Taco please train your staff to talk to customers in a professional manner and learn more on customer service! From beginning to end of me ordering my food I was disappointed! I hope Tanya gets the proper training...
Read moreI was just at the 7919 Mission Court, San Diego, CA location and had a terrible experience with the staff and management. I pulled up to the drive thru and asked for my order, the employee at the drive thru started berating me telling me that my order wasn’t there, then they tell me to pull around and go inside. I pull out my confirmation email, and the transaction to prove that I paid for it. I speak Spanish so I hear them saying over by the monitor oh it’s right here, to which they make me verbally confirm what my order contained. Then the employee says “just make it for him” like if I’m in the wrong. Once it’s made she threw my bag on the counter and gave me a dirty look. I swear to the gods that I will make sure no one goes to this location again because I was doing my best to help them resolve this issue and was met with nothing but hostility from the get go. It was two older Hispanic women and a younger one. As someone who also works in the food industry, everyone knows that it’s never the software that makes the mistake and they were hellbent on not being helpful. Terrible service, terrible people. The gentleman making the orders seemed nice and he deserves a promotion over...
