Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in San Diego

Horrendous service. Well, technically lack of service… I was in store with my 3 kids. Waited 10 minutes without ever being even acknowledged — no “We’ll be with you in a minute” — just completely ignored. The couple in front of us walked out. We stepped to the counter and waited…and waited… The order screen nonetheless had 7 orders on it. Turns out they were all mobile/doordash orders — for customers not even in store. So the two staff were filling orders for customers who hadn’t even arrived, while entirely ignoring a store full of waiting customers. Much to the disappointment of my 3 kids, we were left with no choice but to walk out too — still without ever being even...

We wanted a fun place to take the grandchildren for ice cream. East to West coast...we have always had good experiences and this was no different. Great service, friendly staff. Children loved the chili cheese hot dogs, hard chocolate dipped soft serve, blizzards and selections. I requested a watermelon only drink and was refused. One of the girls was cute as a button, but she didn't understand or speak English very well. After I received my drink I wanted a cup of ice, requested it several times but was blatantly ignore by another girl that was just standing around.
