my take-out/online order experience has been incredibly poor. for the past month I have ordered the special sandwich each week and every time, my pick-up time AND placement is inaccurate. I understand being busy during lunch time, however my order has not been in the "shelf" area specified on my confirmation, instead I have had to ask for it and every time, it's sitting on their back counter unaccounted for. If I didn't ask for my food I'd be waiting forever for someone to notice that my order had not been delivered to me. today, for example, I was given a pick-up time of 11:55. I ordered at 11:35. I arrived at 11:45 and noticed there were SEVERAL orders behind the main counter area. I confirmed they received my order, and proceeded to wait while watching the bags where orders were being fulfilled. after another 10min (when I was supposed to receive my order) I asked again, to which a man then asked a girl preparing tickets/orders who responded "yep". I still did not receive my order. I gave them 10 more minutes, asked again, at which point the same man went to the back counter and grabbed a bag that I know to have been sitting there since I arrived. I was incredibly frustrated when I had to point out to that same man that my sandwich I asked for at 1145, 1155, and now 1205 had been sitting behind him THE ENTIRE TIME. I used to love this location but efficiency is nonexistent. very disappointing. at least make things right by offering a free cookie and chips or something. anything. maybe a discount on my next order? We each ordered the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada, with some customizations: one of us had no cheese and no kale, while the other skipped the cheese but added chicken. Honestly, we didn't even need to use any dressing--the salad was phenomenal as is!
The flavors and textures were outstanding: the beautiful, flavorful crunch of the lettuce, the refreshing jicama, and the hearty quinoa. The spice of the red onions paired perfectly with the sweet roasted corn and creamy black beans. The chicken was seasoned, flavorful, and moist, and the creamy avocado tied everything together. I highly recommend this salad!
I also built my own sandwich with chicken, sprouts, cilantro, and lettuce on sourdough. When I got home, I added avocado and balsamic glaze, which made it even more delicious and flavorful.
My friend ordered a side of the spiced curried couscous, which they really enjoyed and even added to their salad for an extra flavor boost.
Huge thanks to Katie for her kindness and patience, especially when I kept losing phone service while coordinating the order. She was incredibly accommodating and never once lost her cool. Thank you to the team for making an awesome, refreshing and fresh ingredient meal.

Read moreManagers handling of today's issue was abominable. I wasn't giving clarification on a side that you were out of and was given an option I did not want. I attempted to return it to the manager and was not given a refund so I went back to go eat my sandwich before it got cold. I tried to leave and ask the representative for the manager's name so I can leave a complaint online. The representative declines and I tried to tell her that I don't want to speak to the manager I simply want the name. Then ask for the representative's name so I can include her in the complaint. A customer begins to degrade in gaslight me and the manager's rush out to defend the customer that is degrading me that has nothing to do with the situation. The manager finally provides his name and I decide to leave because I don't want to wait for a refund while I'm being degraded by another customer and they are being shielded. There were 2 managers dealing with me one tall skinny man with his hands crossed and 1 larger man which was the manager that helped me in the beginning and he put his hands out in a very combative manner. How do you provided appropriate customer service and given a refund when the item was returned initially and I walked back to my table to eat my hot food the escalated issue would not have happened.
