So I came in late one night last week. Ordered myself a carne asada burrito. Made it clear to the gentleman I ordered from that I did not like anything but pure guacamole. After paying nearly $10 for my burrito and driving down the street I realized that the guacamole had some kind of sour cream or mix in it. I was starving but unfortunately could not stomach the concoction.
I happened to be in the area the next night. I stopped in and there was a lady working the drive-thru. I explained what happened and told her that I was there last night. I explained that my burrito was not to my liking and I requested a discount or an additional burrito free of charge. The lady asked me if I had my receipt the answer was no I do not she said okay I'm sorry without a receipt don't have proof that you were here.
Just then, the gentleman from the night before have to come up to the drive-thru window. I asked him if he remembered me because he was actually standing out front of the restaurant trying to flag people in and I pulled in for him. He said that he did remember me. We both looked over at the lady but she still denied me the discount or an additional replacement burrito. I don't think I'll be stopping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe good: Has a drive thru and open 24 hours. The bad: Drive thru speaker is not working and you have to order at the window. š©(it was a sign) The food is very bland. The surf and turf quesadilla is the thinnest taco shop quesadilla I have ever seen. It came in a plastic container and at first glance I honestly thought it was a side of tortillas that they hooked me up with. Nope. The quesadilla is 80% tortilla, very greasy cheese, a few shrimp and some (yes, some) very flavorless beef. No guacamole, no pico de gallo. First time Iāve ever seen a taco shop quesadilla without guacamole included. The surf and turf burrito is huge! Good, right? Wrong! Itās 60% refried beans - and clearly canned refried beans at that. What?! Refried beans in a surf and turf burrito? š¤¦š½āāļø The burrito is mostly rice and bland refried beans, flavorless meat, some shrimp and some pico de gallo. Very disappointing. Again, no guacamole. The ugly: the quesadilla and the burrito are each $11 and sooo, sooo not worth it.
Quite possibly the worst San Diego taco shop food Iāve had in a long time. I ended up tossing the rest of the burrito. š® They really need to rework their recipes and add...

Where do I begin, apart from receiving what I didnāt even order.
This truly just was about the worst Mexican food Iāve ever attempted to eat⦠The cook should be ashamed of themselves. Three different combinations of food and all were soaking in oil. Even a quesadilla was soaking in it. Iāve never heard of anyone having to even cook a quesadilla in oil.
At the drive thru speaker was an hour wait alone. Worse customer service, food, and overpriced! Never again!! For the wait I was expecting the food to at least be edible.
Order:
Beef Burrito and cheese enchilada combination. = Received a cold oil soaked enchilada, and taco combination.
Carne Asada quesadilla. = Oil soaked quesadilla.
Carne Asada chimichanga. = Chimichanga smothered in oil, no exaggeration. I know you require frying it, yet it tasted like oil flavored burnt chimi. You couldnāt even taste the so called...
