Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in San Diego

I went to get some water and paused briefly by the speaker, but no one greeted me or indicated they would assist me. So, I drove up to the window and requested two cups of water. I was willing to leave a tip until I was approached by an employee with a nose piercing (working the Sunday 9/24/2023 8 PM shift). He responded rudely, saying, "Next time, order at the back."

I tried explaining that I had initially stopped by the speaker, but no one was there to take my order. Another employee, a girl, delivered my water because the gentleman with the nose piercing was occupied on his phone, and he seemed displeased with my request for just water. I asked the girl for the name of the male employee, and he returned, asking, "Is there a problem?" I expressed that his approach lacked good customer service, to which he replied, "That's how I speak to everyone."

I then suggested that if he continues to interact this way with customers, he may benefit from retraining. This encounter was disappointing and not representative of Starbucks' usual...

EXTREMELY disappointed with this location! We come here multiple times while we are here on vacation at our beach house, throughout the year. We walked down to get coffee at 7:00pm and arrived at the location at 7:10 pm when the location closes at 7:30 pm. We were told they were closed, we stated that the sign clearly stated that they closed at 7:30pm. Online it even said 8:00pm. The girl said they were closed because they were short staffed however there were at least three people working in this small location at the time. We recorded them and they were laughing and ran to the back room. We spend a LOT of money at Starbucks and unfortunately we will be telling all our friends who live in the area not to go to Starbucks anymore. There is a local coffee shop less than a block down the way that I will be giving my money to. We weren’t the only customers they turned away and they easily missed out on a good amount of money by turning us all away. If I was able to I would post the video of the employees laughing and running...

If I could put negative stars I would I just moved into the area and this is the fourth morning they have messed up our drinks and even changed them each morning and they still tasted HORRIBLE!! I'm not sure how this Starbucks even has that name because it is garbage sugar water with garbage staff that have zero customer service skills and on top of not knowing how to make any of the traditional drinks what's even worse is they are rude and even management doesn't understand the concept of making a cup of coffe with even minimal satisfaction!! I swear to you this place doesn't not only not taste like starbucks, but the coffee doesn't even taste like coffee its absolutely horrific and disgusting!!! I live next door and have resorted to getting in my car and driving 5 miles to the next location just because this location isnt making coffee i dont know what to call it shame on you Starbucks for not training your staff!!...
