The Craft Creamery — Restaurant in San Diego

My wife and I came here for a date and got a flight of four flavors from three different ice cream makers. All were delicious. The staff were super helpful and enthusiastic. The atmosphere both inside and outside was chill and happy. We had a great time.

We were full after ably eating about half the ice cream and sat there contemplating whether we should pound the rest of it or sprint home to save it before it melted. After agonizing over the decision as the precious ice cream melted, we decided to try to save the leftovers. I wrapped the paper bag with our cups in my hoodie and we dashed the mile and a half home and franticly shoved it in our freezer to safety. It's only been 20 minutes since we got back and I'm already contemplating pulling out a cup to finish it. I could not be happier with the Craft Creamery and am super excited to go again.

Overall this is a fantastic ice cream joint. Very much worth passing multiple other ice cream...

What a fun spot! Not like any other ice cream shop. While it is unique and fun to sample and try different ice creams/compare its the unique concept and vibe of the place that gives it a 5 star. The flavors were great and all but it's not a place I would crave to go to because the ice cream is so good. I have atleast 5 other ice cream shops I would rather go to but definitely still fun and worth going too. if you are there with one other person or more GET THE SAMPLER! it's a lot of ice cream to share and the price point works out to be better to get that and share or have left overs to take home. I liked trying different brands and comparing. The seating is great with picnic tables, rocking chairs and a bar spot. Would also be a good date spot :) oh and the color changing...

I am not an ice cream connoisseur so it’s just fine ice cream to me. But I have to comment on the experience. We came in around 6pm on a hot summer day. The inside was warm, stale, dead, suffocating air, likely caused by the various machines running nonstop. So naturally everyone wants to sit outside. But the seating is either huge recliner-type lawn chairs or really high stools with no backs. But the worst is that the seating is right next to a huge dumpster. It reeks and you have huge flies aggressively buzzing around you.

The experience could be greatly improved if you just turn on the AC inside! Install some ceiling fans. Maybe build something around the dumpster. Even really large fans outdoors could decrease the...
