So I have been to this restaurant about 4 or 5 times now. I keep going back because honestly, the food is delicious. But after going there several times and seeing the consistency of the service there, I can only give them 2 stars. The first time I went there, I ordered takeout - Chicken Tikka Masala and Vegetable Pakoras. I went and paid and got back to my work about 10 minutes away, opened the bag to find there was no rice in there and my order of Vegetable Pakoras were actually Vegetable Samosas. I called them to tell them that I didn't get rice and my appetizer order was wrong, so they told me to come back and they will correct it. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes, so I left in 10 minutes expecting it to be ready around the time that I got there. When I got there, I had to wait in the restaurant an extra 40 minutes just for a small appetizer and steamed rice. They didn't give me anything complementary for the mistake. When I asked them about the rice, they said it needed to be ordered separately. Typically when I order Chicken Tikka Masala from an Indian restaurant, it comes with rice, and I don't even really care so much if they charge me extra for rice, but they did not even ask me if I wanted rice, they just gave me the chicken in the masala gravy and thought that was perfectly normal that someone might eat this without rice. The next 3 times I had ordered take out here, they have been very slow all 3 times (which we learned to plan for so we weren't too pressed for time ordering the food on break at work). And one of the times they forgot parts of our order. Just recently, I decided to dine in at the restaurant with my wife to see how the experience was there. Again, it was on the slow side, not quite as slow as my first experience, but very slow compared to most restaurants. They never came to the table to refill waters. I asked them if they could substitute something in a dish for me and they said they could not. And to end it, they never really checked on our table to see if we needed anything, a box for our food, a check, and all of that. I had to go up to the front counter to get it all. So my take on this place can only be 2 stars. Their delicious food makes me realize they have a lot of potential to be a great restaurant, but their service absolutely sucks and they just act like they don't give a care in the world about their customers. If their service was friendly, accommodating, quicker and more caring, I would say that this place could easily be a 4.5 star or more restaurant on Google. But until then, the food taste is all they have going for them and the overall experience of ordering food from them is...

There are numerous Indian restaurants in San Diego County, but this particular restaurant is kind of a hidden gem. The food is delicious and flavorful. The staff members are great and are always friendly. They answered all my questions about certain dishes. Typically, we order takeout, but we decided to dine in this time to see what the service was like and also try new Indian dishes we have never tried before.
The restaurant itself is a nice size and decorated nicely. There is plenty of seating. You will need to order at the counter first.

I was really looking forward to dining here, but my experience was nothing short of frustrating. I arrived at 8:30 PM, a full hour before closing, only to be told that they had already stopped allowing dine-in customers.
This policy makes absolutely no sense. If the restaurant officially closes at 9:30 PM, why would they refuse to seat customers an hour earlier? Nowhere on their website or signage did they mention this restriction, leaving me and others completely caught off guard. It felt unfair and unprofessional.
To make things worse, the staff showed no empathy. Instead of offering any reasonable explanation or alternative, they simply said, “We’re not taking dine-in orders anymore.” No apology, no courtesy—just a flat-out refusal. If they plan to stop seating customers an hour before closing, they should be transparent about it.
A restaurant should focus on customer service, not inconvenience paying guests. I left feeling unwelcome and frustrated, and I definitely won’t be coming back. If you're looking for a reliable dining experience, I’d suggest...
