I don't want to toot my own horn when I say I'm a regular at this here store but I do come here quite often, however, my last recent visits I've noticed that the familiar faces that I'm so used to seeing are no longer present within the store. Majority are faces I have no idea of. I'm assuming this store has a very high turnover rate. However, the one face I do see every time I go in there is Greg els and always working like a busy bee, although sometimes seeming to be the only one That's consistently doing something while I'm there cuz I don't see any other management members really showing their face in the front and smiling and just being so nice and easy to deal with. I do all my returns here on the occasion that I do return and he's there or sometimes I see him just doing other things like pulling carts in. I'm not sure that's his responsibility but he pulls carts in, I've seen it. but then again having carts is nice too.... However as I pass many of the departments, none of the faces and smiles are those of people Ive grown familiar with.. allegedly Greg no longer does my shopping for me, or that's what I've been told. But he's also not there during the times. I have grown accustomed to going. However, like I said, I do frequent the store sometimes more than once, so I do get that luxury of getting the perfect service in which I usually get in the store. However, now it Just seems to be Non-Familiar faces and lack of managerial members actually present and or teaching their non-familiar faces the appropriate tasks in which they should be so accustomed at such a well-known establishment like whole foods, yes of course the price of food is a bit expensive. However, if you want 100% quality foods, you know where to go. Sometimes you have to pay a little extra for the best and that's fine with me. I just wish my experiences were that of the kind in which I am accustomed to getting at this store . Why pay top dollar for top-notch food but not being sold in nothing other than a top-notch environment.. tbh it would be wise to have more employees that seem to be as helpful and just overall delightful to deal with as Greg... Cause whatever is currently going on here. Is noticeable and truly creating an overall experience that's just unpleasant.. hopefully the problem is irradiated or mended.. cause I'll hate to have a I drive all the way to Hillcrest... For things in which I already know I'm paying too much money for but dislike sprouts too much to want to...
Read moreThis is one of the better locations to shop, eat, and work! I hate Hillcrest. It looks like a slum and rundown. This location meets all my needs, in addition to being able to park!
I only docked one star, because management would be very wise to actually put outlets in the dining/bar area at the tables along the walls, and make it so you are required to make a food/shop purchase to work. I study, so I would just end up buying 2-3 meals to work here, in addition to grocery shopping, and Amazon needs. The middle tables and bar could be for socialization and eating. You would end up making a killing if you implemented this idea with UC students! It is a niche plan that no has!.
Also, if I get stressed out, I can grab a beer on tap!!! That will ease the pain...
Read moreI love this place, but the tables are always dirty, and no outlets. Also, the bathrooms look scary. Today I really had to go, and someone let their 10-11 year old boy in the ladies room, and he was trying to look under the stall doors. I couldn't get off the toilet. I find a male above the age of 5, should use the men's restroom. You are 8 years from being an adult. Same with men who have mental health issues outside 2 genders. The kid was almost as tall as me, and I am above...
