Subway — Restaurant in San Dimas

I went to this subway with a coupon that said buy one 6" sandwich with a 30oz. soda and receive a free 6" sandwich of equal or lesser value. So I purchased a footlong priced on the menu at $6.95, a 30oz. soda and a 6" at $4.50 planning to get the 6" sandwich free. Once I presented the coupon and paid I was charged over $12.00. I asked what happened. The employee said I was charged for the footlong as though it was 2 6" sandwiches bringing the cost of the footlong sandwich over $9.00 then they applied the coupon to the second half of the footlong and brought the cost of the footlong down to just under $5.00. I was also charged full price for the 6" sandwich I bought and full price for the soda. When I asked why is the footlong $9.00 I was told it's not you got it for under $5.00...

See, normally i wouldnt write reviews for a sandwich chain... but i felt like this was a place that I needed to review. The person who took my order was this young lady named Diana. She was so kind and attentive not to mention very personable, as we had a great conversation. She was also very helpful because she was very knowledgeable about the different options. All of the subways in Irvine and OC in general are a joke because a lot of them have terrible customer service but Diana was the first good Subway employee in a while. Google says they close at 9pm. I got off work at 8:30pm last night (Chino Hills) and was craving a good subway sandwich for dinner. I live close to San Dimas so this location was ideal for me to get my dinner. So I get there at exactly 8:51pm last night....they were CLOSED!! I cud see the employees putting away the food and they looked at me and just shook their heads. If you are not going to stick to your 9pm closing schedule then you need to change it...
