BAIANO SF PIZZA, Address: 100 Gough Street, San Francisco, CA, 94102 at the corners of Page & Gough Street.
Date of this very sad and very disturbing IMMEDIATE REFUSAL to allow me to keep my groceries in his store for 15 minutes or less, while I bolted to my place in segments to get all my purchased items home.
After & since my grocery cart’s right front wheel had completely snapped & bent completely backwards on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 @ appropriately 2:45 – 3:15 pm right in the gutter curb in front of his pizzeria.

I am still reeling emotionally from this striking refusal to support me in the smallest way possible – with an IMMEDIATE AND NANO-SECOND “NO!”
Please refer to the attached picture of my blue grocery cart with the right front wheel totally collapsed with all my bought items strewn over the curb in front of BAIANO PIZZA 100 Gough Street.
I had not done grocery shopping for quite a while. I needed a lot of items. I ended up spending over $425.00 at a Member Warehouse Store. The number of items, which I purchased & their accumulated weight, was too much for my grocery cart.
The right front wheel just bent in onto itself. It was completely non-operational & it could not roll at all. There was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I would be able to manage to get to my place, which was only 1 block East of BAIANO SF PIZZA.
I attempted to unbend 3 times before it totally snapped in front of BAIANO’S PIZZA. It was “sweating bullets,” I was overwhelmed by the craziness of the entire situation. I just needed some help, support, decency, and humanity.
I received NONE OF THESE TRULY AMAZING HUMAN QUALITES, which greatly enhance everyone’s quality of life – who reside or visit SF, which DESPERATELY needs these attributes now.
I was “at my wit’s end,” & really did not know how I could solve this negative & very unpleasant situation. It is extremely extremely hard for me to ask for help & support – even when I need it a lot.
BAIANO SF PIZZA – What Did I Learn (WDIL) In the future, I need to make sure I listen to this Inner Voice, as it is 90% correct.
I politely walked into BAIANO SF PIZZA, there appeared to a person behind the counter, but the owner/manager (I am not sure) was behind the bar in the back. I told him about my predicament. Without a NANO-SECOND’S BREATH, HE EMPATHEITCALLY SAID, “NO!” I was totally taken aback and stunned by such a lack of humanity – “5 Star Creepiness!”
I was raised in 1 of the 5 boroughs in NYC. I was raised to be decent, helpful, & compassionate to people – especially strangers, when there was a CLEAR NEED. Even most NY’ers – no matter how tough, gruff, & rushed they appear to be, most of the time will help someone in need.
I am a very kind decent person, but – when I am faced with such BLATANT DISRESPECT FOR HUMANITY & A NEIGHBOR, my very unpleasant NY’er comes out. Oh well!
I own a place on Page & Market Streets. The building does not have a parking garage, & it is not in my budget to get a Hayes Valley Monthly Private Parking Garage. So, I use SFMTA HV Permit Street Parking. I often must park 3/5 block away. This happened today.
I had done over $425.00 worth of shopping at a Member Warehouse Store. I completely did not realize just how many items that I had bought & just how heavy they were.
I have had the amazing opportunity to visit over 64 countries around the world. I travel as a solo single person, so I can experience the people, culture, & food as vibrantly as possible. I have been so kindly helped & supported all over the world by numerous nationalities.
It makes me so sad, that “in my backyard” & 1 block away from my home, there is such a business, which is such a human disappointment.

Read moreGuy who works here has no care for society and how much stuff costs. We don't need a bunch of chairs for the outdoor area just asking for some lunch after you agreed yes we came in the Pizzeria and ask hey what do you got for us. Looking like we were bums or something the outdoor dining area yet he just scuffed and said no no. Felt so disrespected after we donated a bunch of chairs for free for him. Damn near had to beg for what he promised us. As we were leaving he was trying to offer us a slice but I'm like no after showing so much disrespect and being rude as hell we want nothing from this place. If the service is like this I'm sure he is cutting corners and all sorts of areas in his business. Do yourself a favor do not be disappointed and come here! Although they do have a really nice indoor area that's a very good Plus for the restaurant can't say all negative just had a really bad experience here. No miss communication he was very rude and knew what he was doing.
*Updated : The fact that you have to use false information at saying that we asked for a full meal when all we ask hey what you got for us in a polite nice tone, just shows how you want your place of business just definitive proof of everything I just explained up top. Case closed, take your business elsewhere and there are plenty of other friendly pizzerias who genuinely care about their customers and are not dishonest. An apology would have...
Read moreI randomly walked into this place for lunch while I was running late for an apartment touring (moving from a diff neighborhood) and I got a slice of the Sausage & Honey pizza. Now, I'm not a good writer by any means so I can't explain it in great detail, but out of probably the 300+ different pizza places (of every variation) I've eaten in my life, this has to be a top 3 slice of pizza I've ever had.
I ate this slice in my car while stuck in traffic off of a paper plate and it was totally unassuming. It looked pretty normal, and while my first bite was definitely solid, when I took another and hit one of those pools of delicious honey combined with some pizza grease I felt the heavens open up. And when I continued and got some of that spicy sausage with some of that serrano chili I began to levitate straight up until that portal to heaven engulfed me in it's delicious, honey goodness.
Seriously guys, get the Honey & Sausage pizza and you won't regret it. I've had nothing like it and even after this one slice I've decided I need to go back tomorrow for lunch and get an entire XL so I can take it home so I can give it to my family and friends so they too can experience Nirvana. I just can't stop thinking about those pools of flavor and I simply can't wait another day without it.
Cheers yall, and...
