Cable Car CoffeeSF — Restaurant in San Francisco

I was looking for a breakfast spot near my hotel and was surprised to see that Cable Car Coffee had a rating of 4.9 stars. I had walked by it a few times on previous trips to the City and just figured it was a kind of tourist trap serving mediocre food at tourist trap prices. Oh how wrong I was! The humble exterior holds but cannot hide a very warm friendly staff who will add as much cream and sugar to your coffee as you want. I had a turkey egg and cheese bagel that was delicious, with pepper and I think some other spices on the eggs. Definitely a 5 stars for me! One of the best breakfast sandwiches we’ve had 👏😋 Loved the pork&turkey sausage in bagel and bacon cheese croissant. Mocha and caramel macchiato were mmm mmm mmm. The vendor was really friendly and accommodating. She suggested for a croissant bread for my mom so it will be easier to eat(softer). Thank you ma’am 😊

My partner and I were in a rush to get to work one morning, but also very hungry. We saw the cable car as we were departing and asked the very nice lady, how fast it would be since we were running to work and I think she said 5-7 minutes or something like that and it was! We were able to get the delicious breakfast at an extremely reasonable price and still made it early to work. We will be repeat customers for life!
