CREAM — Restaurant in San Francisco

The service is terrible at this location. I placed an order last night 5:30pm to be delivered the next day at 1:45pm. Yes, I placed it early to ensure enough time to prep and process. That is how important it was to make sure this went right. To add, they do not close until 10:30pm - so there was enough time to prep my order. Today (the day my order was to be delivered) they opened at Noon accordingly to their website, Yelp, and Google. I logged 6 calls starting at 12:06PM, with the last at 1:23pm when someone finally answered. I was calling because I wanted to make sure they removed the receipt on the bag because this was a surprise for my dad. I live 2 hours away and I thought this would be a nice way to wish him a Happy Birthday. While I was on the call with them I received a text from DoorDash saying Cream cancelled my order. I asked the girl on the line why it was cancelled and she told me nobody prepped my order in the morning so they cancelled it. She then told me they tried to asking me if I wanted to substitute my order, but that I didn't respond so they cancelled it. By this point my driver had left. For the record I never received a call, text, email, or DoorDash message. She offered to place another order for me. I told her that I didn't want another $115 charge hold on my card. She said that there wouldn't be because they haven't charged me yet. Clearly she doesn't understand what a pending charge hold is. And with the way they incompetently handled this, hell no I was not going to let them run another charge, pending or not. Who knew that i'd have to say happy birthday to my dad and apologize to him for this gift fail in the same phone call. ...

Umm wat? wait wat? That is pretty much all I could say when my friend described this place to me and I had never heard of it before. After standing in line for birite how did I not know about this place? Seriously I asked. Its ice cream sandwiches with whatever you want in them? Before they could even answer I was in an Uber to cream.

Ice Cream Rules Everything Around Me. There was a line there when I got there which you can expect as well. The neighborhood around the place is great so you can explore or checkout the many many dogs walking around with people. The line goes pretty fast as there is only one thing on the menu. Freaking Ice Cream Sandwiches. I guess my excitement also comes from the fact that I am from Texas and didn't even know these were a chain. Why have you been holding out on us Cali? thanks to this I am never going back.

Once you make it to the ordering station you are greeted by a huge selection of ice cream options which I was most surprised by. Not just vanilla but things like lemon and blueberry or hazelnut. There are also a lot of cookie options and toppings so its like a cold stone but for ice cream sandwiches.

The final kicker and why its 5 stars without a doubt is everything is so cheap. For less that 5 bucks you get a huge ice cream sandwich that is beyond delicious . I would recommend getting your cookie warm when they ask which type you want. Its all so good. Go here as soon...

Cream is everything it's suppose to be. Across from the Roxy and minutes from any bar in the Mission District, The fun is churning before you even walk in, from the logo and decor, to the slogan "cookies rule everything around me." And the best part: IT DOESN'T CLOSE TILL MIDNIGHT! . It's a perfect stop, when walking from an evening dinner or strolling the San Fran, with an array of flavors to satisfy any sweet tooth. Fresh Baked cookies, various toppings, and a welcoming assortment of ice cream flavors makes the combination options almost endless. And the best part is it's priced so cheap you think you are getting away with something. I went with a simple combo of salted caramel ice cream on top of a warm, chocolate chip cookie. It was great. The only thing that keeps this from getting 5 stars is mainly the employee working. It was Taco Tuesday, with a sign promoting a waffle cone, taco shell layered with ice cream and oreos. But when my partner asked about it, the girl cut him off and with no tone inflection or small explaination, said "we don't have taco shells" Customer service is important to me, but this girls lazy attitude and lack of customer satisfaction couldn't ruin my ice...
