Situated in the back of the LinkedIn building POPO is a gem of Bay Area third wave coffee. Equator (from Mill Valley, CA) roasts a well balanced coffee bean and makes it into a wide assortment of brewed concoctions. Their food offerings are minimal but of high quality. Staff is busy but nice and their manager is really friendly. Upon receiving your drink, you have an assortment of places to sit, work, converse, and savor your beverage. Just like the other location on Market, the staff at the 2nd Street location are friendly. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you are unsure about what type of espresso to choose for your latte, the staff will guide you in the right direction. As usual, I got an Iced Breve Caramel Latte. The taste is consistent from one location to another. By the way, Breve drinks are made with Half & Half. If you like drinks that are creamier/have more milk, ask for Breve. I love this place even before Equator was announced that they'll be a tenant. What's good about the place is wire basket seats with charging outlets. Security personnel station on Howard St, but they do a perimeter walk around too. Massive artwork and stadium seating options​.
