This is one of my go-to places for lunch and (if I'm in the area during opening hours) sometimes for dinner too. The food is good and consistent; I usually get a sandwich (the deviled eggs one is my fave, though the bread seems a tad big) and a salad or soup on the side. The location is convenient to get to (walk, public transit, etc.) and it's close to Yerba Buena, which is a great park to eat in on nice days. Small warning: the line can get pretty long, especially during peak lunch hours, but I rarely find that I have to wait during dinners hours (I guess everyone just looks forward to going home after work lol). As pedestrian as it may seem, I like a good egg salad sandwich (I mean actually good, not the pre-packaged jobs at gas stations), and theirs was the best I have ever had. It has roasted peppers in it and seasoned well so it's very tasty without being salty it overpowering. They have also mastered that balance between too thick and too runny, which evades even me at times and I make myself egg salad fairly regularly. Atmosphere and food are great though, the edamame is also fabulous, so if you're nearby and...
