Stopped in to try the burger on the recommendation of a friend and I wasn't at all disappointed.

Double Decker smash patties, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, shredduce, surprisingly briny pickles and a tart aioli on a soft bun that somehow held up to all the greasy goodness. It came with shoestring fries that were salted well (ask for a side of lemon aioli to dip them in) and I'm not even a French fry guy but they were delicious

Fantastic selection of beers and spirits and well appointed decor.

Gabriel greeted me warmly the moment I sat down and made me feel very welcome while giving me a brief rundown on the business' history. Great brand ambassador of I ever met one.

Definitely come give these guys a try. I'll be back this weekend to try the pizza...

Fantastic local bar tucked away in a side street. We visited around 3pm on a week day and apart from a couple of other people the place was empty although I would imagine it gets very busy later on. Plenty of seating inside and the drinks were excellent value for money, although we didn't have anything to eat there the prices looked very reasonable for were you are. If your walking the Embarcadero then it's only a short walk to get here (about 5 minutes) unfortunately we had planned to come back here one evening but didn't get the chance, but next...

When you think of going to a bar this is the kind of bar that I think of it's dark they sell beer I can get loud sometimes there's neon lights there's regulars is animated people and it's generally fun. I was a visitor to San Francisco and we were looking for a quick bite and grumpy seemed to fit the bill we went there had some burgers, and everyone seemed to have a good time. I would recommend it.
