I was in the area running some errands and found myself really hungry afterward! Based on some online reviews, I decided to check out Habibi Falafel. Upon arrival, a young lady, whom I guessed was the owner, kindly took my order. Unsure whether to go for a falafel sandwich or shawarma, I asked her which one she preferred. She suggested the chicken shawarma, so I opted for that.

The sandwich was stuffed with flavorful chicken and a mix of vegetables (I asked for all the classic toppings!). While I waited for my meal, I took a moment to look around. The establishment is cozy, quite new, and clean, featuring about six tables. The service was excellent, which prompted me to dine in.

The sandwich was not only delicious but also quite filling. After I finished, I spotted their pistachio Turkish delight and decided to try one along with a cup of black tea. Even though I usually don’t have much of a sweet tooth, the Turkish delight was incredibly satisfying that day!

I should note that a young man was efficiently working behind the counter in the kitchen, seamlessly handling both phone and in-person orders.

If you find yourself in the vicinity and craving Mediterranean or Middle Eastern sandwiches or dishes, I definitely recommend trying...

I was really looking forward to trying this new middle eastern restaurant. This is my favorite cuisine and I’ve also lived in the Middle East so I’ve been exposed to a lot of it. I got a mezze plate to go. My honest critique is this: pretty good falafel. It was flaky, flavorful and not too heavy. But, the hummus was just flavorless. Where’s the lemon, where’s the slight hint of garlic and Palestinian spices? No salt or pepper. It was the most blah hummus I’ve ever had. The baba ganoush was the same, no spices or lemon, just ok but not like anything I’ve ever had. Not much eggplant, ok on the garlic and I don’t know why it was white and had a pasty consistency. The pickled vegetables were delicious. What I find most weird is there was absolutely no lemon or spice in anything. I also realized before I left there was no pita in my bag. When I asked for some, I was given the most surly look from the guy behind the counter who put together my to go box. No I’m sorry , no words, just a look that could kill. The woman at the front was really nice. Sweet and bubbly, the exact opposite. Don’t know what their specialties are or if they’re good , but to me, mezzes are a staple so unless I’m looking for decent falafel, I...

Passing by this area at least once a week, I noticed that this restaurant was under construction and renovation for the past couple of months, after having a grand opening last week I decided to check it out to see what they were about.

When I first walked in I was greeted by the owners of the restaurant with amazing hospitality! They were very welcoming and made sure I was informed with the menu selections as they knew it was my first time here. From affordable prices, (especially in this area of the city) to the amazing and flavorful food it was an easy decision to rate this restaurant 5 stars They have a build your own style of food selection which I had never seen before in this cuisine. And they were handing out fresh falafel to make sure we as customers knew what they are about! Overall amazing experience and amazing atmosphere, I will for surely make...

I was very excited to try this place, but it left a lot to be desired. I had been looking forward to the ribeye shawarma but both that and the chicken were on the drier side. I really wanted this new place to be great, have freshly sliced meat off a vertical spit, but it just came out of a reheated container. Seemed like it had been in there for a while come dinner time. The bowl was also very light on the meat portion despite it being $20 for half ribeye / chicken. The habibi sauce was good, but that’s really all I can say. Very little ambiance inside, seems like more of a to go / doordash place. For sure it’s better than the chain type of locations, but nothing I personally would go out of my way for again.
