Karl's Beacon — Restaurant in San Francisco

Ducked in here yesterday after a concert at Stern Grove. Wife opened a tab but never got her card back. The bartender that opened her tab left right after we got our drinks and the new bartender that came on was getting annoyed with her asking to check and see where her card was, claimed it wasn't there, we gotten it back, and so on.

When we got home, she checked on her card and, sure enough, someone had been racking up all kinds of charges from the bar. Now we have to cancel and replace the card, dispute a bunch of charges and all that. But was pretty lame to have the bartender be so short with us and then find out that the card was indeed still there and getting abused.

This is a review for the "The Burger" at Karl's Beacon after 3 visits. This is hands down the BEST burger in the Sunset including West Portal. "The Burger" at Karl's is always perfectly cooked and proportioned, juicy and fresh, immaculate layering of ingredients and you can tell that the chef cooks with good vibrations. Sub the fries for onion rings which are incredible onion rings, get it to go and have a tasty cold beer while you wait, and you have yourself a perfect burger expereince. Thanks...

This bar is so fun and really nicely decorated. Love the private back room. We had a birthday party there on a Sunday . We were set up with 2 tv’s because the 49ers were playing as well as the giants . Tables were set up for food and drinks . The staff at this bar are amazing the amount of business they do is phenomenal,and they stay friendly and efficient. They have outside seating on the side if the bar , where you can enjoy your drinks in the sun . It’s my new favorite place to go and...
