Mizutani Sushi Bar — Restaurant in San Francisco

Possibly the best takeout sushi in the Richmond. They don't have a flashy-looking location but they make up for it many times over with the quality of the food. The ratio of all the ingredients is excellent. The preparation is clearly expert (e.g. the lemon on the 49er roll is sliced thin enough that you can eat the whole thing). All the ingredients feel super fresh, and most importantly, the fish has that perfect ratio of fattiness for sushi that makes it melt in your mouth. I've tried many sushi places in the area and can't enjoy them anymore because every time I wish I got sushi from here...

My favorite type of review to write because this sushi restaurant absolutely crushes it. Allow me to digress; I’m randomly staying in the outer sunset, hankering for sushi, and wanna specifically go somewhere i never been before. I screen options by highest rating and price point…. And voila… an excellent meal that exceeded all expectations that also restores some element of faith in the universe.
