Came here after work with a friend for their happy hour. I wanted to try their taro drink, but they removed it from the menu by the time we went. Inside was really big with two levels and tables set up outside as well. It was already pretty busy at 5pm (I believe a private event was happening), but we were seated indoors promptly. We were impressed by their list of drinks and ordered the nachos, kimchi noodles, tacos, and chicken wings. We tried the mai tai and the drink was so strong. My friend thought it was really good, but it was a bit too strong for my taste. The kalua pig tacos were dry and would pass on them. The kimchi noodles were my favorite and the beef quality was really good. The nachos and chicken wings were pretty good too, but nothing spectacular. Overall, I thought this place is a good place to meet with friends and have some drinks, especially since this place would be...

Came here to eat after watching multiple kids at Origami Palooza in Japan Town while my sister and her hubby enjoyed "Crazy Rich Asians" at Kabuki. Met one of the organizers of Origami Palooza as a birthday celebrant finishing up their party. Walked down to find another large birthday party where I knew the birthday boy and he didn't disclose it was his birthday! This is definitely a great location for large parties. I once came here when the place was filled with ukelele enthusiasts playing along with Cynthia Lin.

The food is good Hawaiian Fusion. Their mac and cheese was more traditional when they first opened, but now caters more to the cheesier mac lovers. Pick and choose your plates as quantity differs for value. Previously the spam musubi was a good share appetizer, but the portions have changed. The good share plates from my most recent visit are nachos, bibimbap,...

As a recent migrant to San Francisco, I yearned for a location where I can experience a wing night as I have done in previous stays. Well on my first attempt, I need not look further! This lovely restaurant in Japantown answered my prayers and satisfied my needs. 25 cent wings (with a 2 drink minimum) seemed like a dream in such an expensive city.

The servers are what sell the food. Everyone is beautiful, friendly and attentive. They knew when to check on you and how to make you feel at home. For as long as I'm in the bay area, this will be my weekly wing night spot.

Oh yea, the wings....the wings were delicious. I had buffalo, regular, and garlic cilantro. Next week I'll venture out to more flavors, but I had 25, so I needed to relax. I ordered a beer and sake as my 2 drinks, and they are the reason why this review is...

My meal was enjoyable. On Tuesdays, the Kabli and Kalua pig tacos were $2.50 each. The duck and shrimp ones were $3.50 a piece. With a Hawaiian meal, I usually order some sort of spam dish. Their spam musubi $5 was, let's say, adequate. I can't say their house wings $9 were spectacular. Their kitchen was a little slow on some items. The bartender was quick though. My drinks came out fast. The waiter seemed like he didn't want to be there. Who can blame him, he had a lot to do. Overall, the presentation was nice. With that said, sometimes that could be a bad thing. For example, the margarita had this black salt around the rim of the glass. It looked unique. But, the black color dye rubs off. The next thing I knew, my lips were black and so were some of my fingers. My meal was $50+ with tax and tip.
