Nice store with healthy options but they don’t accept calfresh/ebt which automatically excludes certain clientele and leaves families with children who need basic produce to go out farther for those foods. What a shame, with plenty of families in the area I don’t see why they don’t have this service. At this point it leads me to conclude they choose to not service people in need or are too lazy to go through the process to be certified. This is one of the very few stores in San Francisco that I like in Noe Valley.There is a homey feeling inside and this is partly because most of the employees are in the same family. Service is very fast and friendly. It really stands out in Noe Valley —which is comprised mainly of snotty yuppies—and whose pretentious restaurants, stores and so forth are staffed by aloof people who are really taken with themselves.
